I'd guess they've both been cope drinking/smoking to try and escape the reality that the show is on the downturn. They've been getting less subs every stream and keep losing viewers every show. They are in a death spiral and the only thing that could save them is some insane ralph drama like him dying or rackets trial bring out new drama and the bodycam footage. The worst part is that the 0.5X nerds on the go only kills the stream every time they do it. They used to get a lot of small donos from random viewers but the paypig grifting forced all them away.

With the way things are currently going I'd say they are like a year or two away from being ralph.

Let's assume that someone makes about 50K per year and has a bare bones of living cost of about 40K per year (taxes and other unavoidables are contained in this 40K), giving them a discretionary income of 10K per year or 20% of their pay. Why would one elect to decrease that 10K pool by a single penny if it's just going to be consumed by degenerates who get high end suites for hookers, blow and gambling? Before any kinoguards say "but it was free to them, MM paid their portion out of his pocket", keep in mind that these absolute reprobates are choosing to blow money like a recent lottery winner rather than establish a stable basis for their respective futures. I did see this while lurking, it was a good layout. Given that rent is through the roof in the Toronto area, the barebones cost of living there is 4000-5000 (I am unsure if this is measured in USD or CAD), but either way this means that the clips channel and the gumroad will keep roofs over their head, lights on and food in Ashton's gigantic gut. No, but i did notice that somewhere around early summer he started taking piss breaks very frequently, to the point of basically every 30 mins to an hour. I even joked about him being back on coke to myself at the time, cause he used to do it and the Rackets shit was ongoing at the time, but over all didn't make much of it cause I thought better of him.

It's against TOS yes in fact MEGA uses a fingerprinting system to censor and take down known CSAM material so since this one was extracted from IG DMs it wouldn't fall inside the database, so the autodetection and autoremoval/report wouldn't trigger in this occasion. So in fact it got taken down manually after the fact, and definitely after Tardski and Gunt did what they did with it. Iirc it got taken down by the uploaders themselves before MEGA could take action live on stream but i could be wrong.
