The costumes have been amazing and I hope they keep doing it well after halloween. Maybe make a huge dono goal that has a reward of doing a new costume next ep.

I'm not surprised they didn't stream for 31 days like they said they would and I really don't care that much about it. My issue is, they took a whole month off to prepare for this or so they say. More likely they used maybe a week at most to prepare. If they did do that, they should know in advance how much content they had for the month. If you know you don't have enough content for the month, why make an absurd promise to stream every day for the month?

What the casino should have done if they really wanted to stream for the whole month was cut the stream times in half. It's clear that between the lack of content, the uncomfortable costumes, front loading boring segments and sudden bouts of illness that the 5 hour long streams were too much. That's not counting the 9+ hour gaming nonsense Andy was doing post stream to appease his sycophants. All that said, It's not really worth kicking a dead horse over what was clearly just a overestimation on their part. But this should be taken as a learning opportunity for them.

As others have said, they need to get more consistent and stop over promising. For the last almost 3 years they have been in a very fortunate position. They existed in a sphere with very little competition. Their only real competitor is Null. But he runs a different kind of show and he streams in a different time slot. Even when they mysteriously disappear for weeks at a time, the minute they fire up a new stream, they have nearly the same numbers they did before. If they do branch out from and eventually leave the sektor behind, they are likely going to be entering a more oversaturated market. And if they continue to operate the way they have been they're unlikely to maintain the level of success they have had.

Big win for Argent and KC, he seems like one of the very few genuinely good guys on youtube, and always gives a pretty based take.

His UCU (Ukrainian Cinematic Universe) series is high kino.

Edit: I'd love to see Null and Argent discuss politics, hopefully they'll be on at the same time.

Classic case of machismo hubris. "Oh yeah, it'll be tough but I'll just do it." Smash cut to you baking in a nylon costume that feels like it could be used for arctic survival missions, while you ruin your voice and your throat, and you can't think straight anymore.

If they promised to stream 20/31 days of October, and put out 160 hours of content in funny costumes, everyone would have been satisfied. Hell, they should have under-promised and over-delivered, and be met with cheering.

I wonder why they are so reluctant to do shorter shows.

Is it because their practiced show format just doesn't allow it? Andy will pick apart minutiae and zoom in on faces like his father Mike Redbar from Portugal, and PPP will do his slick salesman bit of mirroring and yes-and-ing. Then PPP will usually go over the same points again, this time giving his own take, this time with Andy going along with him instead. I actually like everything about the format, even the repetition. What's the point of following lolcows if you're not micro-analyzing their lives, after all. However, it wouldn't suffice to do a shorter show and only cover a fraction of the content.

They should take a page out of THAT BROKE-DICK JOHN POTTER MOON's book for their shorter shows. Just give a desensitized summary of what happened, what the cow did, then make a joke or two and move on. (MATI could really benefit from being slower and longer tbh)

Used to do troll-y reviews of DSP's content too, that's how I know him!

He has strong views on The Canadian Solution for mental and physical healthcare issues as well, being (hopefully) formerly suicidal. I haven't watched any of the Cuckada episodes, because they sound like a black pit of despair, but he would probably be a really good guest there.
 
While you can argue about the Sektur dying creating a content drought, more guest shows would benefit the show immensely. I have high hopes for the alien grifter expose guy on Monday.
Failed Kinoween promises aside, from what I hear Gumroad subscribers have been felted the hardest. They don't seem to even promote the Gumroad anymore on the latest streams, suffah paypigs.
 
I have to agree with PPP that so many lolcows they cover are dying off (in Ethan Ralph's case, quite literally) so it's tough for them to cover the same dry cows again and again. Kudos to them for trying new things to keep the show fresh and entertaining.
 
I thought I recognised Argent from detractors and he is pretty entertaining, a nerd but great. Why do I have the feeling Phil is either going to;
a) Slink off because he is a low intelligent retard who feels emasculated and left out.
b) Is going to debase himself and act like a retard and in tandem as the only US citizen bar Null make US crew look retarded.
c) Null, Argent and PPP will tell him to fuck off.

I also have a schitzo theory PPP is hoping Argebt will have chemistry with Argent so they can 300 hole Andy because that relationship is not going to last 2025 and I think it is clear PPP wants to position differently whilst Andy wants the sweet Sektur donos. He is absolutely correct the Sektur cows are dying quickly and you have to stay ahead of competition in streaming its essential.

Eh, that's not too bad.

Remember Rekieta promised he was gonna do 14 Locals streams in May and he did one? That's only a 7.14% competition rate.

I feel like the Rekieta tape (bodycam), whenever it drops, is the season finale of the current Kino Casino arc. After that the show needs to evolve. New cows, new intros, new adventures.
 
I think in a decade Ashton and Andy will be covering Ralphs decomposing gunt flesh, talking about how they're planning to move on from the Sector. It's never happening lol. They're both Sectorites through and through, they love this shit, and that kind of stink don't wash off.

I hope so I agree the bodycam stream is the perfect end. I have been an avid Jim enjoyer for years but never found Ralph interesting or funny except the Portugal battle. He is so tepid and Iclass him like DSP one of the constant cows that just never evolves. It's a shame they missed Chantal because in her prime she was incredible. I disagree with them following Cobra though he is like DSP and Ralph its the same shit day after day.

Well ~9 hours (of the 160) was just intro so at that clip they were doing just under 40 hours a week on stream (37.5) plus whatever they did in prep time. Hard to say how much time they actually put into prep and they do put stuff up on their GumRoad as well so you've got to factor that in. I can't imagine they're doing any more than 50 hours of work in a week and even if they are a large chunk of that work is relatively low effort stuff they'd be doing anyways. Andy's game streams and the stuff that they clip is a lot of the time what they'd be doing in their own free time anyways. I guess it depends on how loosely you define "work"

From what I gather it has to do with the algorithms being based on watch times. A lot of streamers are doing shows that are far too long and that's probably the underlying reason if watch times affect the likelihood of your channel coming up in recommendations.

The rise of clipping channels can probably be traced back to no-one having the time to watch streams that are hours long on a regular basis. If you want a variety of content from different streamers, clippers are the best way to find the highlights.
