Probably because a sheet of cloth with strips of steel is a much cheaper and faster to produce piece of upper leg protection than pants. Plus, basically every civilization until post-Rome where horse-riding wasn't a common part of life had similar clothes. The Scythians and other eastern european tribes were considered barbarians for wearing pants, compared to the Greeks.

My only complaint about last night's show is it should've been Willy Warski and his Oompppa Loompppa. Andy has got the Gene Wilder schnozz (and the paypig factory) so it was a perfect fit but at the same time I also understand the amount of paint required to make PPP into an Oompa Loompa might've been a bit excessive :story:.

PPP was also already painted all orange a few days ago, so I imagine he might have felt it would just be the same thing, again.

I'm just starting the restream now, didn't catch it last night. Oh it feels so good to see Quarter Pounder to get tore into. He is such a grifting fuck. Him getting laughed at is the thing he hates the most and i'm here for it.
