I can agree entirely. I love a redemption story, but the issue is very few people are either worth redeeming or have the capacity to do what it takes to be redeemed. Funny enough though, I wouldn't even call what DSP is going through a redemption. He's just a guy who has done a lot of dumb and embarrassing shit that people decided to fuck with him over. I don't want to glaze the man too much or pretend like I'm suddenly a DSP fan, but just thinking back over the past decade or so, the amount of content creators who turned out to be actual pieces of shit makes me all the more sympathetic towards Phil, especially considering the majority of those creators likely looked at Phil as a cautionary tale of "What not to be as a creator".

The meme is that Phil is a Pigroach because he snorts, but more notably because no matter how shit everyone on the internet thought he was, he was still somehow able to survive and make a living. Thinking about it though, it's actually a shitty downplay of a man who like him or not, never let the criticism or hate derail his work, never let his fuck ups stop him from moving forward, never decided that he was "better than" what made him successful, didn't cave to insane amounts of harassment and plots to make him fail, and stuck to not getting involved in degenerate shit or injecting his politics or shit into his content. Idk man, call it what you want, but it seems like the reason Phil has survived for so long is that he stuck to what he knew worked and didn't let stupid shit get in his way.

As a side note I was watching Phil today on his podcast and he was talking about playing Andy in Tekken. He said it might not be fun being so one sided as the better player. I think he missed the point of how funny it would be for him to demolish Andy on a no loss streak. It's content gold just to have the honor of losing to the king so badly.

I never really watched KC before this year, and just through clips, but a few years ago I did see some PPP vids (I guess when he just started) when all his videos looked low light, low quality, and serial-killer-esque, and he would go on about saving the white race and do his sermons or whatever.
When I was watching KC react to the RTU docu with DSP it felty really weird when PPP was going on about the tranny who "worked up the courage to present a certain way in a time when troons weren't accepted" and he sounded like really empathetic of trannies in general. I mean Dickers was obviously in the wrong for stalking anyone like that, but idk, I guess I didn't expect the hardcore christian/anti-degen guy to go out of his way to step up for the tranny. Anyone else find that weird? Or is my understanding christianity not all there, because I didn't think those 2 ideologies would really mix well.
Or is PPP just another grifter fraud? I don't actually know what his views on trannies was or what they are now. I mean the guy goes after Melonie Mac for having bikini pics out in the loose, I wouldn't expect a guy like that to defend trannies.

@Belly Botum I can understand how some people might not catch onto what PPP does. He does this to get under Rich's skin placing Rich's beliefs at the forefront as a way to troll him. He's done this quite a few times in the past and is quite good at it. It's just another reason Rich could never react to any of their content as he can't argue against any of it

It's a higher level way of pointing out how much of a lying piece of shit Rich really is

Those old clips were some of the better content from PPP. Back when it was a shit quality phone-cam leaning against his laptop, while he sat there sweating profusely and shaking his fat arms screaming about how he's "going to gut Ralph like the pig he is".
You don't get kino like that with KC.

The best content he ever did was the entire Chaggot saga, starting with the book, then the dad interview, then the Chaggot himself interview, then the baked streams, etc. Just content for weeks, it was so awesome. That was also right before Surfer decided he would start to take over streams, so the Surfer content was still at an acceptable level.
 
I hope Josh does get pick/wants to do the chained together Collab. The amount of laughter, rage, and despair from all four of them would be funny to see during it. Especially when they get to the Chinatown section.
