I had typed a whole thing about how it actually wasn't a bad response from Asston. But then I remembered that he's lowered the bar so much over the last few months that any response at all to what happened today would have seemed decent.
Tldr they spent 90 mins going over Asa's horrifying furry history. The best part was the first 15 minutes, they were both clearly scared that chat wasn't going to get any less hostile.

PPP decided he wanted to sell out and go grifter mode so he disavowed all the fun, non-superchat driven videos in the style he grew up with. But both Godwinson and PPP 100% have a passion for the Channel Awesome and 2009 era content, that was something they’ve both made clear they bonded over. Ashton’s old streams showed a deep autistic knowledge of Spoony and other figures.
That’s another reason why these jabs hurt Ashton so bad, it’s because he still has that autistic fandom backtroung inside him for this kind of content.
