Baronet Godwinson Edge being paid for his time is completely different to a couple grifting parasites using a shady website to funnel superberries into their fat gullet. One is a business transaction, the other is worse than tossing coins into a wishing well.

Isn't this difference obvious? I suppose not, since neither worked an honest day as not-internet-parasite.

This also verifies one thing, they have and use PayPal. Also, PayPal.me is a payment link and you can put anything there you want, so MrAdamEdge isn't a dox per se, but at least confirms all my suspicions regarding PowerChat. If the grift is funnelled to a PayPal.me link, the grifting parasites will see the same information.
 
I don't think it matters what Jim does. I've always gotten the impression that Jim's presence alone is what causes people to self-destruct. Matt didn't need to go on the stream, but Jim was there and so he went AND stayed. Jim really didn't grill Nick or make him expose anything, it was Nick getting a big ego and acting stupid that caused AF to shit the bed.

Knowing this I have a feeling they're going to get soft-balled with Jim avoiding certain subjects for whatever fucking reason and then they'll get a huge ego and make some stupid mistake.

I think it's partly due to how critical this sektur is of effectively anyone, and the niche nature of it - not that grifting only makes this sektur shit.

For example, look at H3H3, I used to think their produced videos were funny. Sure I was younger, but clearly time, effort and passion went into them. When they figured out they could make the same, or more, money from just spaffing out a podcast every week their content just spiraled. It is complete shit.

Even breadtube is similar, once they catch some success their workrate drops drastically, and people like Shaun go to streaming vidya and releasing a video every six months because people are just handing them money regardless. Plus, once they are popular they get their paypigs to do their research and most of the work for them. Yet they remain popular.

So yeah, it is a specific thing in this sektur, but fuck knows why.

I think the difference between the right and the left is the platforming thing. The right wing e celebs like to debate each other because they (for the most part) have small audiences, so they think if they "own" they other guy in a debate they can basically take their audience, and maybe some of their paypigs. Think back to the GG days - when Jarbo was exposed for flagging nobody was going to go to him after that for gamergate news and his channel tanked. Those same people were likely still looking for gamergate news, and as a result might have tuned into the Killstream or other shows for updates. Right wingers don't mind playing someone else's content - this gives them the perfect opportunity to pause/mute and add commentary to 'own' the other guy.

Left wing content creators think if they 'platform' someone they are basically endorsing them, so they're not going to have someone they hate. I don't watch a lot of them so I don't know a lot about their drama, I know Destiny and Hasan hate each other but not really sure why (I assume it's over some dumb slight like destiny using racial slurs a million years ago).

Hasan might hate destiny but he would never debate him live (at least to my knowledge) for probably that exact reason. He'll play some small out of context clip fed to him by his viewers, but he won't actually debate him live where he has a chance to respond.

That's because Metokur is pretty much a mirror that shows the exceptional behaviour of these guys and lets those actions speak for themselves. It also helps a lot that he doesn't engage in dumb shit and seems like a normal dude (which prevents people from using "BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU?")

The whole "cum detective", "criminals are based", "catboy ears", etc. memes came from stuff that Nick did or say in response to the question "why do you do X?"
