The name "Baron Adam Edge" was floated around /cow/ years ago, it was funny so I remembered it.
I don't remember seeing any proof though, anons were sceptical at the time. Interesting that it has come up again.

Kind of, especially with PPP and Godwinson, the problem isn't making money in of itself but that this almost inevitably leads to a drop in content quality, parasocial relationships (woooaaaah signal boot with one THOUSAND dollars there guys) and scummy behaviour.

Without the grift, PPP wouldnt fire up a stream unless there is something worth talking about. Contrast that to today, where they will pause on Nick Fuentes talking about something mundane and go on and on about how the way he is breathing the air is totally evidence he's gay. So they just spaff out content to make a quick buck.

With that said - it's not that people can't do this without going scummy, or that noone should do it. Rekeita has managed to monetize and still putting out content that is engaging - and probably better - and Jewsh doesn't seem to have changed his streaming at all.

Yet the majority of people who try it inevitably end up like PPP and Warski.

It was most likely been uploaded by PPP since it's originally his channel, Warski as the resident OBS slave only needs the streaming key. But that upload was a extremely retarded decision. Because of it, PPP gave a lot of additional ammunition to fuck himself over. First being too much of a bitch to address the Godwinson video, then shitting on their audience and lastly "doxing" Godwinson. (It's not fully confirmed yet that Adam ow the Edge is his real name. Unless I missed something.)

It's also evident (in my opinion anyway) that like you said, it's perfectly possible to make money without being a turbogrifter if you were already good to begin with. The issue is that retards who have nothing to say seem to inevitably turn to grifting because all that stuff like the parasocial relationships is the only way they can reliably maintain a group of people who will donate and financially support them.

I frequented /cow/ quite a lot before coming here, because Alexander Gordon Jahans was and still is by far my favorite cow. A lot of his lore is lost to time. But if I remember my timeline correctly Godwinson has always produced videos under the Godwinson name. Somewhere along the way Jahans gets so mind cucked he creates a arch villain in his brain called "Black Adam of the Multiverse", referring to Godwinson. Black Adam hilariously constantly thwarts Jahans' plans to rape and dismember women in his own writing, so Godwinson now owns the Black Adam title as well. A bit later there's a copypasta dox calling Godwinson Adam Edge and claiming he is royalty. Everyone just assumes it's true cause Godwinson has had elocution lessons. I just looked at this Peerage index and it doesn't seem there's an Adam Edge in the Edge line.

But I could have the timeline totally wrong, it's been a very long time. And I guess he could've always had his real name stricken from these type of databases. From my highly autistic aylawging of the Farshnuke, I was always under the impression Godwinson owned a fail dox to keep people off looking for him.

Where everyone gets the narrative from is people taking Null's autistic attempt at telling jokes about Jim as him hating Jim (Null your deadpan delivery is a double edged sword) and Jim because he joked about Null being a feeder during peak fat women observation and during a SC reading on Stream.me where he said hed never run a website because the owners all turn into weirdos like Lowtax or Null living in the Siberian winters

Godwinson would be the perfect person to do this grilling of KC because he wouldn’t let them get away with anything. I don’t know how Jim will do. But in my opinion, almost nothing good can come of this from the point of view of the casino. The initial fire of the powerchat thing has spread to too many little fires about everything else: the powerchat thing, the grifting, the quality of the show dropping, Warski being a retard, the drying up of milk from their go-to cows, etc. they will either not be able to address everything to the audience’s satisfaction, or if they do address these issues, it’s basically just gonna be an apology with a promise to do better. And based off all the goodwill they’ve burned up, are people really gonna be fair to them after everything and give them a chance? I doubt it. Ignoring the issues was a terrible strategy because people used it as a jumping off point for all the grievances they had with the show. So now it’s not just about powerchat anymore. It’s about “this show sucks” now. There’s no possible explanation for that that will satisfy people. People just want to see the casino burn at this point.

It's something strangely unique about this sector (or maybe any drama/hate watching sector, regardless of politics. I just stay up to date with the e-right). You almost always see these retards crash and burn like clockwork when presented with a larger audience / more money. Contrast that almost any other genre of content that I consoom and it's usually the opposite. Idk if that's due to the quality of the person that would typically want to engage in the shit flinging, the a-log type fanbase these guys tend to attract, or something else entirely. If you're smart you can ride it out and make something long term of it, but obviously most can't. That being said, if you're real smart, you don't even touch this shit with a ten foot pole, just watch the chimps dance, and keep the internet out of your personal life lol.

A little off topic but it would be kind of ironic if Godwinson's name was Adam Edge, because the guy that portrayed the wrestler Edge, his real name is Adam Copeland; and COPE LAND is definitely where Godwinson has PPP.
 
Don't know if anyone has posted it but Ralph interviewed Aim Aim Alex about how Warski snaked him in Miami, the fight at the hotel, etc.
This is one of the few Killstreams where Ralph comes across as a sane and somewhat normal presenter, you can he's enjoying shitting on Tardski, there was an awkward IT'S NAWT TRUU IT WAS A MEXICAN WITH A WOMANS NAME!! moment when Alex mentioned Ralph trying to punch a female cop but other wise the Gunt was in good spirits and actually made me laugh with him a couple times.
