I’m wondering what the exception is for Elissa Clips w/r/t to most of the points Andy and Ashton have against “clip channels”.
She was monetized (until Ralph DMCAd her to hell and back, threatened to leak nudes, went after her family), she uploads “30+ minute clips” of other people’s content, and doesn’t really edit/editorialize it or comment on it.
Is it just because they skim her channel for the stuff they cover on their show? Is it a double standard?

It's probably at least partially because they use her stuff, but didn't Elissa ask for permission to clip Kino Casino? If she did, I don't see why they would have an issue with her. There's some overlap with the regular Kino Casino Clips channel but it's not like they have the exact same audience, since KC's stuff on Elissa's channel deals primarily with Rekieta, as opposed to their clip channel which uploads segments of various topics. I think I started watching Kino Casino because of the stuff she's clipped from their show.
Maybe I'm weird, but I don't think it's the worst thing to make an exception for her when you consider how much money they've made because of her.

For real? Well, Aston and Andy worked hard and earned that couple’s trip to Hedonism II, it’s been hell since the baby and they haven’t gotten any time to themselves.

Honestly it’s a good thing. The show has definitely gotten better with the last few months but the “let’s get some subs bish” act gets old. I’m glad to see some improvement compared to the beginning of the year, especially with PPP flexing his chops as an interviewer. But interrupting the show with announcements about subs cheapens the flow of the content. It’s just my opinion.
EDIT @Maraschino honestly I forgot that she is considerate enough to at least ask for permission to clip the stuff. Apparently Doody was operating off the same principle (“b-b-b-but keem, Phil gave me permission!”), but at the end of the day Doody is a faggot and Elissa isn’t. I guess I’m a hypocrite too

This is going to be the funniest time for the bodycam footage to drop, and I think Andy could be extra salty Nick's kept him from participating in a second vacation (since he had to cancel plans back when Nick got initially arrested).
Just for the record, I can't remember with absolute certainty she actually asked them for permission (but I lean towards it having happened). I do know Null recently mentioned she asked him for permission to clip him and he gave it to her, and assumed a non-zero chance she had the same conversation with Andy and/or PPP. One of the avenues for fair use is transforming it, the other is permission, and she likely got the permission since she doesn't add commentary.

Elissa also asks EVS for permission for clipping him, so my guess would be she asks basically everyone for permission for her clips. Well everyone besides Nick obviously because she's a-logging him

Without going into psychoanalysis, Phil reaching a point where he can begrudgingly take advice (whatever his motivation) from someone and finally get rid of Derich is huge.
However, judging from some comments when they covered Ralph going full ragepig on Elissa (with her present in the Casino chat), I'd say they do have some resentment towards her. They really shouldn't be niggers about it, and should intead remember that not only did they use her channel as a source for Rekieta content (arguably their best segments), but also their streams exploded in popularity after she started clipping their Rekieta segments for youtube.
