When Jim is disrespected he can be really vindictive, he went after Sargon for a long time when they were previously "friends", went after Baked Alaska after they had their falling out (which consequently gave Ralph the oppurtunity to make his channel the go to for blood sports at the time). He pushes way beyond haha and runs it into the ground. I think I remember him contacting Ice Posidon telling him not to have anything to do with Baked because he's a nazi when baked tried to glom onto him and reinvent himself. Ralph must remember this stuff so he's probably pissed that Jim acts all innocent.
This is the impression he likes to give and he is naturally funny and likeable and good at what he does. He's just as petty and effed up as everyone else though. The possibly fake chronic illness is quite the glaring rabbit hole, among other things.

Yeah, I think he's playing it pretty well, especially the swatting but its fun to dissect this stuff to figure out exactly what's going on.
