He probably has a real job too. He can't make that much on 60K subs.

Probably what happens is they're telling the truth about it, because it's mutually beneficial. He makes money from doing YouTube, and the clips on YouTube make them money because it brings in new fans from YouTube.

And then he does some other rando job irl who knows what. Pretty nice setup.

Any chance he could be editing for some other channels as well? Usually those video editors have quite a few clients.
