On Dec 6th it was revealed that MM was unbanned on kick. This new account followed them a day after this but yet somehow It says they subscribed 2 months ago. Now it’s been discovered they gave this suspiciously generous whale a personal badge to hide the fact they are a brand new account.

I don't know if i jumped the gun here or not but the only way for them to do this with the current Kick API info is to manually make him a sub for 2 months somehow. Is there any way for kick streamers to assign subscribe time to let's say known alts ?

If I hover over the chip, it gives the text "2-month Subscriber" The OG badge is literally "OG" and the VIP badge is a crown. It is possible that they just took the image of the 2-month subscriber and created a unique chat badge with that handle to create the illusion that the person had been in for at least a month and a day. They weren't counting on metadata analysis or even the display erroneously saying that December 7 was over a month ago.
