I found this cool piece of fanart for a KH version of Vincent Valentine since he was originally supposed to be in KH1 as well

I feel like this would be an interesting way of introducing vampirism into Kingdom Hearts without making it feel too realistic.

He would have been interesting but I'm glad they went with cloud stealing his clothes.

Still one of the best design's Nomura has ever done. And he's barely in the game when you really think about it.

Personally, I think that the Vincent design intrigues me in regards to how the darkness can possibly affect the physical body and its organs as opposed to just the metaphysical soul and mind. Something like a Kingdom Hearts version of Geostigma or Starscourge would fit this well. Although here's some fun trivia, Cloud actually references Vincent in Re: Coded.

Oh nice was that just in the original? I don't remember that in the 1.5 movie they made. I always liked the idea that something actually off screen happened to kh Vincent and cloud honored his memory.
That was such a retarded and gay cop out of an explanation.
Oh I know for a fact the original script had a much better explanation for this shit. I think it was the price for dealing in magic or some kind of cross contamination from opening portals to another realm. In any case the whole original version of the 15 (versus) was superior In every regard.

Can't wait for Nomura to drop some crumbs in 4

Bahamut was going to be in KHI along with Rikku, Aya Brea, Tifa, and possibly even worlds based on Atlantis, Gargoyles, and Toy Story. Personally, I think that the place where you fight Chernabog in End of The World could have easily been the location of the Bahamut boss fight instead while you fight Chernabog somewhere else. And for the original explanation for Starscourge, well, "All magic comes with a price."

This is the first I heard about tifa and I think toy story/ Atlantis was kh2 but otherwise yeah that checks out

Im hoping they bring back aya in a game. She's basically literally and figuratively in limbo but they still own the character and it would be cool to have her as a mentor for real world shit.

Honestly, I was thinking of having Namine just be Aya and Kyle's daughter who was living in Radiant Garden as a friend of Kairi, Aerith, and Ienzo, among other during her younger years who was kidnapped by Maleficent during its fall to darkness. Maleficent then basically trains Namine as a sorceress which spurs Riku into betraying Maleficent earlier while escaping with Namine who does her best to help suppress Ansem's darkness within Riku up to and during KHII. Xion could easily fill in the "Organization/Nobody Kairi" role with the reason behind Maleficent kidnapping Namine being due to revenge for something Aya and/or Kyle did against her during Birth by Sleep's time period. Namine does look like a younger version of Aya so it kind of checks out.

What I don't like about Re:coM is ironically one of the systems that made it unique. All the enemies play the same card system that you do, and it means that 1) in a crowd, only one enemy can attack at any given time) and 2) the mechanics encourage you to break enemy cards, which is basically like forcing all the shit you fight to skip their turns and it's so easy to exploit when you have the CP and sleights.
It's because RECOM sucks and the game simply was never designed to be in 3D. The game was meant to be on GBA. The card game was actually pretty intuitive and you didn't really notice it after awhile. In RECOM, the game is so vastly different, it allows you to snap it in two. The GBA arenas were a lot smaller. One enemy attacking at a time is no issue because you never noticed it. Trust me, those Organization fights are no friggin joke. They can mess you up if you aren't careful.

Never forget, at the end of the day RECOM was a rush job and slapped onto KH2FM to help justify the price tag because people were sick of the whole Final Mix thing.

Chernabog was supposed to be the original Final Boss of KH1. He was swapped out for Ansem when they redid the game. The boss fight was mostly done though, so they just slapped it in there anyway because everyone liked it.

Honestly KH4 will probably just be another setup game I doubt we'll get much on the Master of Masters. I don't really know what to expect. There's so many loose plot threads that tie together with nothing. It's kind of a wildcard at this point with what they'll do. I also don't plan on playing it either unless something else comes to PS5 with my interest.

A set-up that, while retarded, I could see happening, is Luxu in KHIV, Master of Masters in KHV, and Primordial Darkness in KHVI, so basically all of us will be considered "oldfags" by the time this series is even close to ending.

Hmm I was thinking more of having the whole reality meets fiction thing getting a lot more mileage with aya being a game character from a realistic world..... But I do like the idea of making namine special. There's an offhand reference to her coming out of nowhere in Castle oblivion and she's not actually kairis nobody. It would be cool if they link her into the post reality stuff and discover a secret origin.

I think they'll finish most of MOM arc in 4 and set something else up with reality. Nomura knows the fans need a bone.

At the very least I think the v rex game will clean up some background threads. They wanted to do the yazora game first but the interview with Nomura established that he realized the fans wanted sora in a better place then were he left him. so Nomura went off the planned track and did 4 first.

I could entirely be wrong but I really got the sense that the MOM was extremely pissed off that sora wasn't following the script from his slight body language. He's not supposed to be awake and in a meta sense he was never supposed to win the secret boss fight. ( Assuming he actually did win and isn't in another reality inception style)

More over, I'm still wondering if the whole turning into Crystal bit is actually going to tie into the 13 saga and the l'cie. I think it's highly likely.

Is there a chance which all the FF main characters can show in KH someday?
KH3 was a waste in that regard.
Feels like Dissidia kind of ate KH's lunch in that regard, plus Nomura has gone on record saying he's really only comfortable using characters from games he was personally involved in. Personally, I think FF1's Warrior of Light or Cecil from FF4 would be perfect both in terms of design and thematically.

I'm rooting for JJ Abrams to appear in KH4 to slap Nomura and tell him:

JJ: The Mystery Box thing was a metaphor. You weren't supposed to actually create a mystery box you Jap, twink!

Nomura: LOL get fucked jew faggot.
Abeloth would fit as a true darkness remnant better than any of the crap introduced by Jar Jar, but unfortunately that will never happen.
