i finished the main story last week, about 140 hours in, including most of the dlc content. hot take: the game isnt as bad or as pozzed as some people make it out to be

the jews exist as a plot device to delineate a faction of citizens who get destroyed by the main antagonists at one point in the story to make them look evil. theres no reason for them to be jews specifically and in the context of the story it really doesnt matter. if they were regular bohemians aligned into some cohesive faction absolutely nothing would change.
is it pozzed? yes possibly. does it harm the gameplay experience? not really

the uppity nigger first appears in one story mission more than halfway into the game. he is framed for murder by a local guard because he is a nigger and bohemians hate niggers, and you have to help him because the murder investigation is occupying the camps leadership and preventing you from pursuing your own mission. he is preachy but far from the most annoying character in the game, imo he wouldnt even make the top 3.
some time later in another main story quest there is a battle where he betrays sigismunds soldiers to save your life. besides 1 line of dialogue this event is never mentioned again for the rest of the game and even though he continues to tag along with your crew hes reduced to a glorified nurse joy who can teach you some skills. the scene where he helps you feels largely shoehorned in and as a result its inconsequential
is it pozzed? probably. does it harm the gameplay experience? a little bit but hes by no means a "central story character" like some people say

the gay romance option is probably the worst offender. now let me make it very clear that capon is and always has been a flaming faggot and if theres 1 character in the game whom i would pin as a faggot (other than istvan whom you just want to kill, and henry at several points laughs at him and erik for acting faggy with each other) its him. it doesnt surprise me in the least they picked him for the option.
this only ever comes up as one specific dialogue option about halfway into the game when talking with capon, clearly marked as an option that leads to a romance path, and if you dont select this option it you will never see any hint of it ever again
is it pozzed? definitely. does it harm the gameplay experience? not as long as you dont freely and consciously make the decision to pack his fudge

the most egregious and out of place feeling character is rosa ruthard, that cunt is insufferable and designed as a portrait of a stronk independent woman whos smarter than everyone. you could put her in any modern dei slop game and she would fit right in. unlike some other examples of feminist writing shes at least not openly hostile and unpleasant to everyone while inexplicably getting away with it but shes still an annoying smartass fuckwad. she mainly appears in 2 major quests later into the game where she helps you reach a few important places.


now, these are about all the examples of palpable dei interference i can think of in the main game, and ive done about 70% of all sidequests too. overall the amount of cool and sometimes immensely based characters greatly outweighs the amount of gay and cringe characters and other than some instances of slavjank shining through (crashes, scripting bugs etc) ive had a great time and i can recommend this game. its very story and dialogue heavy even for an rpg. i havent played 1 yet, im going to do that next up after i finish the painter dlc

also i havent paid a penny for the game in case you want to say im coping

thats cool but doesnt matter because theres a reason in the story why he had the fictional jewish quarter in kuttenberg razed in the game, and it wasnt because they were jews, he wouldve done the same thing even if they werent jews. they were organizing resistance against the king so he had them killed. done deal

there was no reason for the writers to make them jews but other than hearing some yiddish unnecessarily shoehorned into the dialogue it makes zero difference plot wise
 
I don't think much of anyone gave a fuck, certainly not enough to make a separate thread for the game, but the highly anticipated Kingdom Come spinoff 1348 came out to a roaring success.

nigga if you actually read the historical notes in the game you will see that next to the total creative liberty the writers took with the real characters and real locations, adding a jewish ghetto is but a drop in the fucking ocean. my guess is its inspired by the pogroms that actually happened in the jewish quarter in prague about 10 years prior. dont know what reality you live in but the game wasnt a flop either, for better or worse. success attracts globohomo investors so the next game might be worse off

but youre welcome to not play a good game based on the opinions of a bunch of contrarians who havent played it either, go ahead. i just came here to give a real review after nearly falling for the meme that its supposedly unplayable slop

It is an absolute fucking lie that troons, fujos, and associated types buy the game. Most of them never have any money!

All they care about is making their fanfics and fanart. They pirate if they are smart enough to do so, but most of the time they just watch YouTube videos of the game and pretend they are experts.
