Same as with Assassin's Creed: Nigger. I called it, slop of the month that everyone but it's most fevered fans or a-logs forgot when the new slop of the month came out, but that's common sense and hardly a hot take.Reviews and stats aside: The fact you hear nobody talk about it is enough to declare it a failure. I saw people talk about the first game for fucking years and a no-brainer to buy at $10 on sales.
Ironically enough, Synthetic Man's videos(and those from his sphere) might be the most influence this game ever gets. Reminds me of how Starfield's biggest cultural relevance are all the video essays shitting on it for hours on end(Up to 9 straight hours) and memes people made about it(like the mutts of New Atlantis).Yeah, the new game, despite the mainstream success, seems to have zero cultural staying power. I remember seeing people posting memes like "Henry's come to see us!" For years following the original game's release. Haven't seen a peep from this one.
It reminds me a bit how Game of Thrones shat the bed in the final act and it just utterly evaporated from public consciousness.
Kek, just like DSP, which to his credit, is a normal reaction in this case for once.I have an acquaintance who completely ignored the first game, despite me heavily endrosing it, but he immediately jumped on the sequel. He abandoned the game shortly, because he got filtered by alchemy in the tutorial section. Good thing he got the game on the high seas, only because he is a really stingy cunt.
It's funny, because unlike Starfield this was being shilled by the Grifter sphere, Drinker, Mauler, Almighty Loli, as 'not woke slavjank kino'. When the back half finally revealed that this was actually a cuckold game, that entire half of the Internet went radio fucking silent, which leaves KC II as this weird game everyone apparently considered a game of the year contender but don't seem to want to talk about at all.Ironically enough, Synthetic Man's videos(and those from his sphere) might be the most influence this game ever gets
Frankly, AI generated fetch quests like Todd's generic radiant quests would still be a better alternative to most of the reddit writing filled shitty quests in KCD2. How many of them have actual good payoff and a way to handle them with various builds like in a proper RPG and how many of them are just "Do this one specific thing that is not fun and maybe we will throw a bit of XP and a few coins your way"? Main quest is awful and long enough as is.Nothing, game died and might as well have never come out.
Also Vavra wants to use AI so he can save shekels he has to reluctantly give to the dirty Warhorse employees.

I have not heard anyone mention this game in months, not since one of the detractors had a brain fart and thought the game was hated by journalists despite them all loving it a few pages back anyways. I bet nobody will remember it either when in a few years Warhorse will announce KCD3.Still people defending this goyslop?
That's just the thing, we haven't thought about it at all for 5 months. It just falling off the face of the earth and how strange that is, is the only thing that revived this thread again.Still coping and seething about 2 million sales. After 5 months, it's time to stop.
Stellar Blade sold 5 million so far with sales still extremely strong on PC and Stellar Blade isn't even that good.E33 sold 3 millions in a month. This jew shit went out like a fart

Unless a game sells 10 million on the first month, Its considered a failure by the AAA marketers.Still coping and seething about 2 million sales. After 5 months, it's time to stop.
