I don't know why these planned features were left out of the release build, if the point of delaying these features was to maintain a stronger active player count for longer it doesn't appear to be working.

There was already a mod that changed Musa from a coal black North African to an olive complexioned Arab trader which is what he was in real life.

edit: the 1.2 patch may have slowed the decline but it hasn't lead to a regain this weekend so far.

The "active" fan base (the one actively interacting with him, making art, fics, etc) is 95% women, so it's not that surprising actually. I started watching his streams and stuff as I'm really interested in the game and in his character and I did get a lot of odd vibes from his community especially after joining his Discord server (tons of women gushing around him and praising him and calling him pet names, felt more like some kind of harem than a community lol) so I'm not that surprised by the allegations honestly. He is apparently self-obsessed and has had no major roles aside from Hans and is building his entire life around this role since KCD2 came out.

I hope the entire DLC is about Hans and Henry's gay courtship that somehow completely disregards the other choices in the game including the 'secret' one with Theresa.
