Cobes was never a danger to anyone but himself. An annoyance, sure. Autistic, yes. Sex pest, slightly but only because of his mental disabilities not allowing him to fully grasp the world around him. He never deserved any of the trolling that went too far, or people sending him duster or alcohol. I disagree with sending him hamster bedding, bags of ice and whatever else people sent to him. The anal douche was funny, absolutely, but we could argue semantics of what type of trolling is acceptable or not until the world ends.

I do agree, people softened on him after his untimely demise. You could call it rose tinted glasses. But what makes me sick to my stomach are the people who happily engaged in gang-stalking behaviour against a disabled man, then turn around and go "UnU Cobra will be missed, gone too soon" the second Clint announced that his son had passed away.

All I know is, he ruled the miserable lives of his trolls.

Reddit acting like they were his biggest fans is truly sickening knowing what they did to Cobes. Anyone can go back a couple years in this thread and see all the shit reddit did before the old sub was deleted. It actually angers me to see them with their fake bullshit, like they're sad and thought he was great the whole time. I still pay attention to that subreddit and the trolling and bad natured posts are slowly coming back. Fuck those people.

I do think that the subreddits based around Cobes had some genuine fans, or at least mild trolls akin to us, who produced stuff inspired by the boy. I mourn the loss of the treasure trove of information, but the vast majority of the noise from reddit has been genuine hateful conduct. Miserable addicts who wanted what Josh had: a monthly tugboat, a carefree life with no responsibilities at all, attention and unlimited access to doordash, and a family that at worst enabled him and at best genuinely loved him.
Same with the facebook people and discord. I'm sure there's a couple of people who have posted ITT who hated Josh with their entire being, 3500 pages spanning several years is a lot of chatter to comb through.

The grave dancing I will never understand. I didn't get personally affected by Josh' existence, aside from some deep belly laughs on his behalf. In the end, he was a deeply troubled soul since his birth and I can at least have sympathy and empathy for him, and his family.

Was talking to California Queen about how silly it is the left went from thinking something should be done about Maduro to screeching about how Trump didn't have the authority to do anything about Maduro. All I could think of the whole time was, "I've spent several years being patriotic..."

The Redditors are like kids who constantly poke and prod an animal, then get sad when something bad happens to it—not because they loved it, but because they can't mess with it anymore. They can't doordash him stuff, call his phone and say he's a sicko, or text him to kill himself, and that's what they're annoyed with. They'll move on to the next lolcow who "deserves it" (in their eyes), while Cobra's fans genuinely miss the guy. Shouts out to all the users still with Cobra profile pictures, TWU.

He's getting Best lolcow put to pasture because he passed away. In a sense, that's the highest honour he can get posthumously. He wasn't the lolcow of the year in the way that Anisa Jomha and her gimp are.

That's actually an interesting question. We know from the celebration of life that Cobes had been making food hacks and drink combos since he was a kid. That specific Family Guy episode came out in 2017. :thinking:

these are the same people who were sending him giant bottles of rotgut every other day for weeks (or months) at a time before the NAL saga and like i said back then: they need to kill themselves irl
