I went to karaoke today at the VFW and the guy running was telling lame stories in a very long fashion and had a black top hat with a bunch of goth clothing and piercings. His assistant was his girlfriend with a dog collar and he looked so much like Cobes that I double took.

It made me miss him and also weirdly happy that his spirit lives on in karaoke weirdos.
 
I'm on the fence about Josh's potential success on Fishtank. Josh never liked doing things he didn't want to do; There's no way Sam or Jet could have convinced him to do shit like some of the later freeloaders did. He would've been a great S1 freeloader, but Fishtank viewers were pretty creative with their insults, and Josh would've had to put up with it 24/7. He might've lasted 2-3 days before he broke and either had a massive drunken meltdown or started just sitting on the couch, pouting, arms folded.

Content wise ((imo)) Cobes was at his best when he was alone and you got his pure unfiltered thoughts. There was good moments with guests undoubtedly but he’d put up facade or withdraw a lot and wouldn’t “say it how it is”

I wish though he had more good friends OFFLINE. I genuinely believe he’d still be alive today if he had true friends that weren’t committing crime or on drugs.

Loneliness and drugs are pure poison. Family is good and he sounds like he had a great one with his dad, stepmom and sisters but you need a few good friends in your life to keep you on the right track.

I'd go to a theoretical Cobra Con, but I know realistically there'd be no feasible way to actually have one without dozens of A-Logs intentionally fucking it up.

That's more of a Reno thing than a Casper thing. I doubt the town would appreciate outsiders coming to celebrate their local weirdo- no matter how beloved he is to us, he was a nuisance to everyone else, including his family.

That said, I'd be down for it. I count at least 14. Woof. That's gonna take a weekend of Sundays.

You could do it in a more respectful way. Like, act the opposite of Cobes and actually partake in the vibe of the bar in question. Order a pitcher of beer and a can of Monster, maybe sing karaoke but don't livestream it and don't fluff up your cock and brush it against ladies so they can check you out (allegedly).
