this now makes me wonder if cobes would have been able to figure out how to heat the food or if he would have simply dumped it on a plate and put it on the stove. i would be concerned about someone daring cobes to drink the FRH water though. if he had one of the older rations cobes trying to use a p38 can opener would be interesting.

It's difficult to explain what I loved about Cobes in a concise way, but "there's an hour long supercut on YouTube of him failing to operate a can opener" comes close.

I am a relative late-arriving Cobra Demon, so please forgive me stating the obvious, but wow, can opener struggles aside, he's like a totally different person in those early videos. Clearly his fine motor skills could use some work, but he seems to be thinking like a normal human being -- talking about budgeting for food and shoes in that first clip. He's a bit of an odd dude, but I never would have looked at some of those videos and thought: "This guy is going to turn into an alcoholic hermit in less than 10 years."

Yeah, it's insane how much he regressed. I joined around the beginning of the second apartment and even the early days of that compared to NAL-saga Cobes and later, it's like two different people.

There's like a high chance I'm misremembering because a lot of the older Cobra followers eventually had some point of no-return spergout either with the Porkney discord followers or the reddit community, or they began encouraging troll behaviours like BogChron including comments in his edits.
I will give Lenin the benefit of the doubt because he hasn't been active much since the NAL saga happened.
This is still one of my favourite things in the world. The poor chairs that Cobes went through.

Looks like girly drinks toobz a real gothic bad boy only drinks apothic red ( paypal permitting). Who am I kidding the boy was drinking skittles and yeast to get a buzz while smoking cigar snipes. Its funny because I recently got into Ozzy and the first thing I think about is cobes. I didn't realize how much the gothic dude that smells good emulated Ozzy's style right down to him layering vocals or his gothic finger gaunlet. I loved his short lived skelton hand cigarette holder ring.

This is one of those posthumous things that I realised about Cobes, especially because of the black metal originals that were released after he died. With some professional production instead of his own frankly awful musicsmith skills, the boy could have had legitimate music that more normie people could have listened to (as normie as listening to black metal is anyway) rather than the extremely niche outsider music that he produced.
His echolalia really allowed him to parody or reproduce vocal talents and quirks, some of his parodies were downright scary with how accurate they were like his Spongebob impression.
 
If you guys want to watch something Cobra related Chauncey is doing a watchalong of Gothic King Cobra right now.
Edit: I forgot to add but he's also doing a watchalog of the second doc with bitesize on Wednesday and a watchalong of the third doc later this week.

Finally got around to watching/listening this absolute insane tour de force of watching people fucking die on camera. I am baffled that neither Seizure or Chauncey vomited after partaking in Cobes' sugary swill. I still kinda wanna do a Sneaky Snake rootbeer float but we don't readily have rootbeer in my country.
