I went and bought a bunch of booze and food for a halloween party I'm hosting tomorrow, Cobes and the other ghosts are going to be fucking feasting tomorrow evening.

It depends on the era of Cobra for me. Late stage alcoholism Cobra which I would classify as 2021 to 2025 right after he moved to the second apartment and began to get drunk every single day is hard to watch now because you can see the decline happening in real time. This was around when he started to just repeat himself for no reason whatsoever which while funny at the time is sad now for obvious reasons.

The stuff before he fully went into addiction is untainted for me. I was just watching a 2016 classic "I'm not loosing my hair" and it made me laugh hard. Cobes was funnier before he became a drunk.

I'm gonna say it, the Liquid Cobra/King Kobra arc with Snails was kino. He wasn't malicious, it was all harmless fun. The First Apartment saga will always be my favorite time in the Cobraverse. such diverse characters, he was going outside all the time and interacting with people. He was coherent, he was filming every small detail so we could live bicuriously through him.

We didn't know how good we had it.

Snails also setup the only comprehensive kingcobrajfs archive that I'm aware of that exists on Youtube. Before that if you wanted to find an old Cobra video you either had had to hope it was still on Josh's channel or know someone within the community who had it saved. Chill dude.

warning that this is essentially a blog but i really want to share it. i was in my first car accident the other day and it was bad enough to be scary like air bags deployed and both cars total write offs etc whatever. but why i'm sharing this here is that night i was obviously shaken up and its frightening to experience something that could've easily resulted in death or way worse injuries.

well, that night in my sleep i met josh in a hallway and it was none of that dream bullshit where you know its someone but they look different, this was 100% josh but his expression was so care free and relaxed, and i said to him "you look like you're doing pretty decent here" meaning in the afterlife, and he gave the most genuine smile i could ever imagine him give and said "i am". i've never had a dream like this before and it made me feel really good, it felt so real! i hope he really is doing "decent".
 
Fellow cobros. I must admit went down a rabbit hole with cigarettes and booze after our leader died. I gave cobes money, no more that 5$ at a time. He cast a circle of protection on my dying cat that ended up dying. I. Sent him.a couple texts regarding guitars. Since he died my internet usage has declined by 2 hours a week. I've had a hard time quitting cigarettes again until thus week. I've relapsed on the most gothic day possible. I miss him so much bros. I used to check this thread like 10x a day. I wish every cool cobra a happy Halloween. TWU!

honestly really feels like the internet as i knew it is over. and yeah not to out myself or anything but i sent him an e-card of these really cute fat pink mitchiri neko style sort of pusheen cats saying happy birthday last march and he took the time to send me a free thank you video not on cameo just i guess he felt like engaging with a fan.

Time to fill that boglim shaped hole in your heart with another hobby. I'd encourage you to pick up a creative hobby, like drawing or maybe needle felting. You could start making art based on Cobes. I know I'd love to see more artsy stuff that's Cobra related. That Fumo was fucking amazing.

Haven't really been keeping up with the thread since Josh died, it's just too damn sad, so apologies if this has been posted already but incase it hasn't: the untitled album Josh was working on shortly before he passed has been released by Deathbed Tapes.

Contains 11 tracks, only four of which actually feature Josh. The rest of them are all AI slop. If you buy the cassette it doesn't come with the AI songs on them, only the four Josh actually made. Deathbed also had this to say about the album:

As far as I can tell we've already heard all these tracks as he has played them numerous times while previously drunk on stream. But either way, nice to see Deathbed is releasing what he had access to and is donating all the proceeds to Autistic Self Advocacy Network. Hail Cobra!
