Another thing has been a sticking point for me since the memorial. Cobra, though he was regarded, did have political opinions and beliefs, many of which went directly against what his family believed. We have all seen the posts on his facetoobz where he would allude to him and clint getting into it over political opinions. In a age where it is extremely common to cut off family members who think differently than you, the Clint clan always loved Josh and did their best to keep him in the fold. And though they did not agree with some of his opinions on things like transgenders, they did not write him off as a evil Nazi. They knew he was an empathetic man who really only wanted the best for everyone.

i think clint hate is a mix of jealousy and projection. like you mentioned some people are just jealous because of the bond he had with cobes. but there are also plenty of people who honestly did think clint allowing his clearly mentally handicapped son to live the way he did to be awful and that he should have thrown him into a group home or kept him in his basement like the boglim he was. these are the types of people who preach about respecting the disabled while treating them like mutants that are best kept locked in the attic and fed buckets of fish heads.

clint was not like that. he wanted his son to live the best life he could and he helped him do that any way he could. even when josh was being stubborn and blocking him on everything he still made sure to check in on him and make sure he was safe. that man went above and beyond just to allow josh to feel like an independent person. so if you ask me i think the people who hate clint need to reconsider their lives because if you cant find it in your heart to care that much about someone especially your own child there is something very wrong with you.

Yeah, yeah… You see no shortage of obese hamkings/queens waddling around in their 40ies and 50ies.

Plenty of alcoholics keep drinking for decades and it’s usually the liver that goes first not the heart.

And it’s usually in the late 40ies and 50ies that shit start catching up with you.

Hope Clint gets a bi yearly check up, seems they have some really shitty genes for heart issues in that family.

His oral health is the first thing I'd point to. It's not uncommon for bad oral health to get some really nasty bacteria into the blood stream, and almost every one of them attacks the heart.

Also, boy went from downing a 40 of vodka in two days to NOTHING in the past, and the high blood pressure created by this Yo-Yo alcoholism is far more than enough to kill an otherwise healthy body.

The heart attack was not the causation, it was the effect.
 
I'm still catching up to the thread, it's wonderful to still see a lot of love for our bog.
Yesterday I finally got my act together and bought a whittling knife, I've been meaning to try my hand at wood carving in general and what better occasion than to do what he did - live as authentically me as I can. Today, I snapped off a long branch of willow and began carving what could possibly be two wands and a walking stick. Maybe I'll even try and engrave one of the wands with the cobragram.
I'll refrain from sharing progress pics but maybe I'll show you a black and green wand in the near distant future.

They hated Cobra because even though he had mental illness, he was still a productive member of society. Which most of the troles are likely not. If it wasn't for the fat faggot from Kentucky Josh would likely be still working at Wendy's.

Troles literally ruined anything Cobes found enjoyment in. Anytime going out in public he'd be harassed, and I couldn't imagine how horrible it must've been for him. Then he's regulated to being a hermit in a trailer and until he died.

Clint even said during the celebration of life he'd have to explain all this to his bosses that shit like this out there.

You can't hate reddit fags enough for what they've done.

The thing that got me in the feels most was the photo of him as a kid with a dog, contrasted with one of him as an adult, the same love for the animal in both. Even at the very end of it all, Josh was still Clint’s kid.

Yeah people have been saying for years at this point that it'll be his teeth that take him out. Severe gum disease as well as smoking causes systemic inflammation, which also fucks with your blood pressure and the elasticity of your arteries, all of which contributes to early cardiac events. I never thought Clint was a bad dad, because I put myself in his shoes, and tried to think: what would I do with a kid like Cobes? And trying to think of possibilities, while still keeping in mind Cobes was ODD as *FUCK*, and knowing that pushing him one way, or another, would inevitably make him resent you? That's fucking impossible. It might've looked like Clint chose the "lazy" route, but, in truth, he chose the route that let him help Josh, without Josh ever hating him, and cutting him off. The restraint that must've taken was fucking Herculean, too.

And, like, I love my dad, and I miss him every day (fuck cancer), and I wouldn't replace him for the world...
But I hope I can be like Clint for my kid(s).

he was also born premature and im sure he had other issues nobody knew about simply because he never went to the doctors. he also smoked regularly despite having asthma. in most cases you are 100 percent right and i think most of us who followed him expected that to be the case.

he was starting to gain weight lately enough that you could see the swelling in his fingers and his feet so people theorized his body was starting to finally feel the effects of all the drinking and smoking along with eating slop constantly. you also have to realize he was not just drinking regular shots or whiskey or whatever the man was downing entire bottles of everclear like it was water.

its actually shocking he did not give himself alcohol poisoning with how much and how often he was drinking towards the end. his body was under an immense amount of stress both because of his own bad habits and because he was born fucked up to begin with.

clint talking about how cobes was very fixed to patterns as well makes me think part of the reason he drank so much was not even because he wanted to but because his need for a pattern demanded it.
honestly the more i think about it the more i think he was lucky to go when he did because i cant imagine how he would have been when he did get to be 40 or 50 not to mention if clint died before him.

I'm honestly just glad that Cobra had a supportive family. I'm not gonna lie, for many years I thought Cobra was just on his own and that his dad only showed up from time to time, but it looks like his dad actually tried to stay in touch with him every day and checked up on him constantly. I still feel really sad when I realize that the boy is gone—it broke my heart seeing Clint trying to hold it together while sharing stories about Josh.

The only thing I want to know is whether the doctors knew he was an alcoholic, took one look at him, and said: ‘Okay, nothing we can do now, come back tomorrow.’ He should have stayed in the hospital for observation, but the doctors probably dismissed the risk of him suddenly dying from a heart attack because he was only 34.
 
I'm late but what a beautiful send off for Josh. It was really nice of Clint to put this together and I hope that now all of this is over with he and the rest of the family can start to fully grieve. I know how hard it can be to grieve before services and memorials are done.

What doctors and hospital are you imagining? Josh likely died the 19th after his last video, Clint came to pick him up forte a counseling appointment the 21st and found him very dead.

Imagine being a dog and a Boglim cozies up to you, IMAGINE the cornucopia of smells from an unbathed, filthy food hacker who hasn't changed his shirt in two weeks, covered in crumbs, tobacco, cum and grease. It had to have been like Disneyland for a pooch's olfactory senses, with a dash of tactical soap. Like an 8 course meal of nastiness.
Plus, Josh could never truly look an animal in it's eyes completely, so they probably never felt threatened while that wonky eye was looking around the corner.
