Josh was the background to so many important memories for us. I remember watching a stream where he was talking about marriage, and that was the impetus for me to really reconsider asking her to marry me. We spent so many nights falling asleep to cobra. I remember turning her onto Josh, I had caught a single video way back when I was young and thought Josh was the cool gothic older badboy I wanted to be. Then as I grew and adult responsibility kicked in, I viewed him more as someone I wanted to be friends with and to help out.
I waded in and out of following Josh for the past decade or so, really focusing back on him the past 3 years.

I am gonna miss Josh like a motherfucker. My breath catches every time I see my lifesize Green Phantom I put together in the home theater. It was good for my heart to see Josh, and not just King Cobra. I poured out a drink for him. I hope he knows how much he was loved, and I pray to SkyGod I get to catch a drink with him when my time is done.

I love all of you. Thank you for making Joshua Fay Saunders matter.

Clint telling that story that some random dickhead at the airport was fucking with Cobra and pussies out when Clint showed up made me MATI. I always assumed Cobra was exaggerating a bit when he said people fucked with him as an adult in real life but apparently not. Poor dude.
 
For anyone who missed the dedication stream for Josh it was incredible and very heartfelt. Clint did a fantastic job and so did Josh's sister. The IRL harassment was so bad trolls literally went to Clints house and loosened the blots on his tires to try and get him in a wreck. Just insane level of harassment Josh and his family had to endure. So fucked up.

My and my friend food-hacked the King Cobra's Special from Papa John's: Stuffed crust pizza with extra cheese, extra bacon, onions, jalapenos, and anchovies, garlic butter and a 2-liter of Mountain Dew to make Cobra's Mists. Cheese is a little crispy YouTube but it ain't nothin' but a thang, extra cheese yes please.

He walked around looking the way he did. He could have changed how he dressed and been left alone but he chose not to.

His son is dead, dude. He's telling stories they had in common and the way Josh impacted him. Say what you will about Clint and his parenting, no father should ever have to bury his son, and after hearing his side of things a little more, I think the internet's reaction to his parenting was misguided. A lot of people would've given up on Cobes, and he did a lot more for him than I think most of us understood, right up until the very end.

RIP Joshua Fay Saunders. Fuck the troles and fuck sickos. That was a nice way to send him off.
