I appreciate what he did to make Cobes more digestible, but the whitewashing going on and his community post acting like he loved Cobra is pretty sad.

I don't have any problem with Bitesized though, his documentaries are great. I wouldn't have known about the specifics about the Wendy's saga since it was before I started following Cobra, and now bringing up ice tea makes me thinks of him and laugh.

My issue was the showcasing of troll comments from boglim chronicles it creates a community where people want to say the most over the top meanest stuff to get showcased.
 
I am an old follower of Cobes and before any of the clip channels. I remember being really put off when it first started, since the slow drip of little moments made it special. But, as Josh got more popular, it was bound to happen. I do think Boglim Chronicles encouraged bad behavior and shaped the perception around Josh negatively though. I still watched him, but even when Bitesize was the main clipper it wasn't nearly as stilted. BogChron was definitely not a non-biased way to watch Josh. I mentioned this a couple of years ago here; it's nice to see others recognizing the fact.

It always astounded me that Josh got more popular as his content got markably worse. Clippers helped, but waves of new people would always come in when their main lolcow stopped making content and that's when it always got a lot worse. The very first time it was the Delray Misfits fans, which were annoying but not that bad. The last time it was Daniel Larson fans and that was bad. There's no restraint there of alogging. Look how it's going with WorldofTShirts, there is no good ending there.
 
It doesn't take a doctorate to know what should've been appropriate interactions with Josh.

If you can't tell the difference between sending a funny donation/chat or sending him duster and calling cops on him I really have nothing for you.

Cobra was at his best when his interactions and reactions were organic... We really never needed reddit to "pull the strings behind the scenes" to make him worthwhile entertainment.

If the only way you could enjoy Josh's content was when he was freaking out because someone bothered his neighbors or called the cops on him, you're a massive faggot.

i have always wondered if cobes knew of mr sausage and his slow decent into making food abominations. you would think cobra would love him since the guy sounds like peter griffin and just makes weird food all the time.

this is all assumptions but i feel like laurel was never fully retarded and was maybe just a bit slow but she got into the party lifestyle with drugs and drinking and ended up turning her brain into soup. maybe she even fried her brain on acid or something who knows. now shes in the late stages of a severe mental decline which will only get worse in time until she simply forgets how to use the internet. unless she has a helper that uploads things for her..

Oh wow yeah I had totally forgotten Bog Chron used to do that and it was nothing but people (generally unfunny too which make it even more confusing) screeching at Josh. Okay I disavow my previous comment about him.

Cobes read his comments once a blue moon. In fact, you could tell exactly when he was reading them because he'd have to hunch over to his computer and squint real hard. I think for the most part it was just a way for people to make jokes.
 
I don’t think I’m ever going to fully get over Josh passing, he was truly one of a kind. I feel like I’ve developed some kind of weird delusion about it - my boglim boy, forever young, trapped in digital amber talking about gender relations and troles until the heat death of the universe.

He was the catalyst that took me from a depressed alcoholic loser into a successful happy man with a family and good career. Wish he had a similar trajectory. Made an account after years of lurking because I feel like I can’t really vent about the unfair niggerworld bullshit that is his passing anywhere to anyone else who would get it.

It was always a fun game when he did the stink face to see whether he'd respond to a troll comment or something positive like what's his favorite movie, etc. Usually troll comment won out. That was THE time to comment.

May Cobes culinary legacy live on through Mr. Ordinary Sausage. It’s not the same, but it’s obviously inspired by Josh’s Ava grande kitchen flair.

It’d be nice if OS did a little tribute if it’s actually true that he got some of these ideas from watching Cobes. Buffalo Wild Wings still owes him for that “Raddler” drink too.

It was one of those running gags trolls would do when the Boy went live during the South Center Age. I'm sure there's a Chillin stream in 2018 or something where he got really bent out of shape over them, but chances are it's 30 minutes of stream dead air before he suddenly goes "No, I don't have a fucking goat. Can you stop asking me about my pet fucking goat?"
