I feel like there’s gonna be some crazy cobra lore dropping from beyond the grave. Unreleased art, stories, stuff from archived videos people had forgotten about. In the same way Terry Davis lives on through templeos, in the same way the sheer reach of the cobraverse is gonna feel more and more apparent. People are gonna keep creating things around him too and drawing on his name like they did when he was alive.

I kept the bottle of apothic red I bought the weekend he went to the great clocktower dreamhouse in the sky. You know there’s people out there crafting some badass, gothic shrines to Cobes that were gonna start seeing. The Gothic King Cobra documentary is gonna be increasingly revered for its art house value. His tapes and wands are gonna just accumulate in collectible value. He’s on his way to full outsider artist status.

The whole thing has had me on a downer, but if there’s any positive to find in it all, I think it’s this.

If they've got enough for a KCJFS version of the album even rough, it they should consider releasing it on vinyl as like a fundraiser for Casper Humane Society or something. Especially if the linear notes are full of unreleased cobes art and maybe notes about how much hair pulling it took to work with him/how it eventually fell apart as a project.

Unfortunately Cobes was using AI for music too. His last album had 10 actual real tracks, and then 4 bonus tracks that were just AI slop. The only benefit to Cobra Dragon eventually being done is he did mention he wanted to make a sequel to "Special Blonde", his magnum opus, afterwards. That would've been a guaranteed hit.
