Why did you register it in 2022? You were expecting to pay for a domain for 20-40 years on the off chance he'd die?
I know you think we're dumb, but we're not. Why were you banking on Cobes' death to the point of buying a memorial site for a 31 year old lolcow you don't know? I have never ever had the inclination to create a memorial for anyone before they die, let alone someone I don't know that trolls are joking abouts death. You bring this to us, and expect us to believe this is all out of the goodness of your heart? Really?

Again, you are asking us to believe you decided to invest money in a domain over the course of 40 years to be the one who controlled the Cobra memorial (the most gruesome "FIRST" I've ever seen). Being the absolutely most generous, that makes you a ween and a fag. But considering how many trolls used Josh for their own gain, I am not willing to be generous.

This thread existed to document Cobes, but he's gone. I do not think exposing the people who killed him is "shitting up the thread" and you don't get to decide that just because you don't like it. alright yall im losing my mind i swear sometime in the last month or so he posted a video where he drunkenly explains the plot to his dragon cobra novel concept but i cant find the vid. i just wanna hear him explain it again, he went pretty in depth. its not exactly the most interesting story but it was fun hearing him talk about it. if anyone remembers what vid please drop a link, im still looking but i think its roughly in the middle of a pretty long(?) drunken ramble. mightve had a food review in there too. i just remember he was drinking, for some reason i think it was the vid where he mentions his skull cup is rusty inside too

This is "cardinal cherries," a vid that iirc was so elusive that oldheads like Internet Collective were ready to pay money to anyone that recovered it. It's fucking weird to think that I used to watch this with my friends who really didn't know or care about Cobra, but still loved the video... bascially Cobra chows down on cordial cherries and starts doing this bizarre strip tease routine to "pour some sugar on me." It was really funny. Someone on youtube had done a remix using the video, which I'm pretty sure is why we have the surviving bits. Regrettably I can't remember what they titled it, tried to search youtube just now but the results are completely underwater with memorial vids.

it’s funny looking back on cobes guitar playing. No, he was not very good but he was still able to play and make me laugh. Now I’m watching videos of cyraxx try and play guitar and he just holds the axe that looks bigger than his entire self and does what I can only describe as a “toddler banging their hands in an excited manner” type of strumming while you hear the sounds of dying puppies. what really upsets me is that nearing the end of things, he seemed to be getting better. he was shredding more coherently than ever and seemed to have the national anthem more or less figured out.
also, i hate that despite josh have vocalized his hate for chance multiple times that goblin still had the gall to stain his name. shouldve been him.

If Cobes hadn't focused so much of his free time on chasing the booze dragon he'd probably have been a better guitarist. Maybe never like a virtuoso, but perhaps a passable rhythm player for sessions/recording only since he seemed to prefer playing sitting down.
You can shred guitar fucked up on a lot of stuff if you're good enough at a baseline, but being piss ass drunk most of the time isn't one of them. Only people who were already god tier guitarists could hack playing half drunk or fully tanked, like Dave Mustaine, and even he couldn't keep that up forever.
Cobes sort of had the bare bones basics of drop d riffing and palm muting down, he really needed to work on tremolo picking from there to round out a basic metal style. He probably would have never been like, technical death metal level, but I could see him getting to bare bones sludge/grind/death/black if he kept up with it. Kind of a bummer to think about really.
That Morbikon collab he did was sick, but it got me to thinking how stubborn and difficult he likely was to work with. Like I bet a few people have tried to start side bands even just recording only swapping files over the internet with him, and it probably petered out after a drunken outburst. Makes me wonder how much more unreleased stuff may end up surfacing in the future.
