I fear the people who cannot comprehend that Josh was a retard who thought he was being kind to his animals when he did dumb shit with them may in fact, be bigger retards.
 
In tribute to Cobra, I have decided to draw or paint him daily for a year. I will try to post my daily progress here. These are the first four days.

Thanks, I just watched him for years, interacted with a lot of cool people who watch him, and was genuinely sad when I heard he passed, really going to miss him. he was genuinely hilarious RIP COBES RIP PUFF FUCK SICKOS

Don't be a faggot who thinks that just because an animal is sold at a pet store it's somehow different than a cow or chicken that's going to get executed so you can have your door dashed tendies.

That I agree with 100% if I was person who sent an alcohol regardless of his state: alive, coma, dead, etc. I'd feel responsible for his death. There's no excuse for it.

I don't think you could be charged with anything that would stick though. No one forced him to drink, in the literal sense of forcing a bottle down his throat. He was just an alcoholic so if course it's a high probability of him drinking the whole damn thing.

It's seriously fucked. I don't know how you can live with yourself enabling a alcoholic junkie who was essentially a walking corpse.

I'm new here so I'm getting the vibe of this place. I figured this site would be similar to the YT comments I read where they shit on him, but this is different, you people genuinely like the guy for some reason and excuse him for his actions while also calling him a retard.

But to your main point about the Puff thing. I never said pets at a pet store are more sentient than a pig or cow I eat.

They're both obviously sentient. They're aware they are alive and have emotions.

It's just as human beings we have more emotional investment into categories, and that's just normal. A pig or a cow is a livestock to be used for food. If it isn't a pet I don't care if it dies.

A dog, cat, and iguana have higher value to us.

I wonder how you guys would feel if he accidentally killed a puppy. It's just something to think about.

Yep. I knew of Josh from his food hacks, but I really started to follow him around the Puff saga. I could tell he loved animals, sometimes he just didn't know the best way to care for them, but he at least tried. He was devastated when Puff ran away, and iirc he got the bearded dragon plushie shortly after that
 
You constantly see pet owners that love them via overfeeding and shit, but that's just a level of neglect that is generally accepted.

Jorps wasn't a good pet owner, that is true. He wasn't a bad person or an animal abuser either.

I seem to recall an animal welfare org checking the viv over and doing nothing, so there was nothing that could be done to improve Puff's situation short of stealing him.

The person who foisted Puff on Josh is more culpable for any harm he suffered.

As someone who enjoys doing daily art challenges, lemme give you a tip:
Get your references ready ahead of time. It saves a lot of energy, over looking for the "right" pic to work from. Keep up the good work!

Pretty sure Cobes was telling the truth about Puff running away. I only recently saw a video of one of those things running and they're remarkably fast for a lizard.
