Anyone know off the top of their head a page range to this gigathread read up on the methany ex drama? The animus from and for that woman is insanely annoying to be ignorant of. RIP Josh, ruined the fuck out of my saturday seeing how broken his dad was.

This outbreak of “trolls remorse” is nauseating. Every person that knew or watched cobra is part of the tapestry of his life, and in my opinion the ONLY bad threads are the trolls who hurt him on purpose. Everyone else loved him to varying amounts, even when talking shit as buddies do. Don’t forget that one of cobra’s very best friends was also a
shon
! Death to trolls who broke the fourth wall. Death to all Redditors. Death to warlord, who I bet only misses mooching. But cobra knew the real friends and fans, and they knew him. Long live the king!

Had Clint basically kept Cobes close and found him a role as an ”apprentice” in his own or a good friend’s workshop
Cobra wasn't pushed out, he left because he wanted to smoke and drink but his dad said "not while you live under my roof", and that motivated Cobra to go to Job Corp and later to work at Wendy's. In the beginning his ODD was a net positive, he ended up flying solo and learning responsabilities of adult life, towards the end he needed some kind of intervention.

Had Clint basically kept Cobes close and found him a role as an ”apprentice” in his own or a good friend’s workshop, where he could basically sweep the floor and collect trash all day for minimum wage, then it would have meant Cobes felt more of a sense of dignity and wouldn’t run into trouble.
Clint was as close as Josh allowed him to be, i think. The main problem is that Cobra just wouldn't do what Clint told him to do, so i guess Clint didn't even try to tell him what to do anymore, which is probably a reason why there should have been some intervention to give Clint some level of authority over Cobra. I don't know how that works legally, but Cobra was in poor health and lacked the self-preservation instinct, so Clint should have been allowed to swoop in and put Cobra in a home.
I think he didn't do it because he knew Cobra would hate him forever and because he felt bad for Cobra, he kinda put his own personal feelings for his son over his son's well-being in a way, which is selfish but understandable if you analyze the situation.
I don't wanna blame Clint or talk shit about him because if his inaction was what lead Cobra to drink himself to death, he's gonna carry that weight till the end of his days and that's punishment enough for a father.

Today's my Friday, my first night off since he died. Thought I was OK, im not ok. Buddy, I'm gonna miss you. I already do.

Im not gonna embarrass myself anymore, but dude, Josh you were a killer person and theworld is so much less without you in it.

A big part of this is the wider social expectation.

Back in the fifties even, it was socially acceptable to treat a special child as a long term responsibility and even drag them back home if they tried to move out.

Granted, no one wants to be treated like a child, but some people do need that kind of firm parental hand even up to their 30s.

This is another issue and societal flaw that has resulted from the attempt at a one size fits all solution, by way of having a legal age of adult responsibility set at an age when arguably a substantial minority of people are not ready for it.

Truth bomb. I benefited a lot from having parents that were in my life and actively pushed me to do something useful but didn't necessarily cut me off when i was 18.
I find that a lot of Millenials have that resentment of being expected to be their own man at 18 and move out and have their life together, i'm turning 28 this year and looking back i think i didn't become an "adult" until i was like, 24 or so.

was clint a bad dad?
put cobra in a group home?
will kfc bring back the double down?

josh was an adult living on his own, clint didn't have legal power to force him to do (thing).
and even if he did, it would have just made josh hate him.

it's correct that he should have been allowed to do that.
and i'd bet a buck he researched his options on ways to be able to do it.
but theres just not a ton you can do.

Cobes in the trailer home is like the later seasons of a sitcom where they change locations. It’s awkward, boring, and feels off. I thought I would grow used to it. I never have. Reddit/Jessica ruined everything. We can never go back bros :(
:tomlinson:

I didn’t know how right I was back in June. We can never go back bros.

I'm at least happy Cobra could break his dry spell before he passed. For someone so integral to the lives of others, he was a very lonely guy. All he wanted was companionship or least what he understood was companionship. The prospect of ever gaining what he had with Stephanie again was non-existent and he knew it, he knew why too. For many years it was depressing to see the guy flip the camera on and go through the stages.

1: Dood, I'm sexy and young, I've got a big dick and I play guitar, a girlfriend should be no problem.

II: I don't know why these dates aren't happening, I guess the dating scene in Casper isn't that great.

III: It's my trolls that are stopping these dates I know it.

IV: Maybe I'm asexual, I'm thinking about going asexual again.

V: You just have to wait patiently, the right one will come along. In the meantime, Chatterbate.

VI: (Only occurs rarely when drunk) I know I'm fucking ugly and my hair is falling out. I know I'm getting older and I know I have shortcomings. I'm not surprised nobody wants to date me.

Seeing this cycle play itself out year over year was hard, man. I'm glad Cobra got to break it. Sometimes it feels like the cost was too high because Jessica is a fucking nutcase but I'm glad that at least he got to do that.

It's funny to me that Cobra almost looked almost not autistic when he dealt with Jessica, at least from what i saw from them.
He constantly looked annoyed but didn't say anything because he still wanted to hit it and didn't want to be bothered by a Jessica freakout™.
He was clearly not into her anymore but kept saying like "WHAT, DUDE? I SAID I LOVED YOU. I WOULDN'T FUCK YOU IF I DIDN'T LOVE YOU".
When they broke up the first and she still visited him, he didn't mind hitting it again. lmao

I hate Jessica, she's the most annoying person in the world, but IT WAS entartaining to watch, at least until she caused Cobra to get evicted.

Nal has been binge watching true crime podcasts about poisoning cases for the last couple hours. That's highly suspicious. Crying -> drinking -> true crime binge. If she’s innocent -> she’s just spiraling, true crime binging to cope.

If she’s guilty -> she’s leaving a breadcrumb trail of her own paranoia and fascination with the exact method that might link her to the death of Josh. If she’s trying to “outsmart” cops, she’s doing the opposite, behavior like this is the kind of thing detectives love to note as “consciousness of guilt.” Very disturbing. I know it's just speculation and people say to ignore her because she's an attention whore but the timing is very suspicious.

Watching this thread slow down is making me sad cobros… I really hope Darf is OK.
The BOY is not coming back, it's sad but it's true. Cobes will rest now, but we're still here and we must move on.
There is still content to be made about Cobes, i hope someone with enough clout and money will take the time to make a doc on Cobes' life and family, interview his dad, maybe try to find his mom and see if she agrees to talk about him, talk to the people who we we've seen in the videos like homeboy Scotty, Darf, Couch Chris etc.
I know some of these motherfuckers are here (looking at you, Turkey Tom), if you're gonna make a doc talking about Cobra at one point then please don't just rehash the other 2 docs and actually make something that would be interesting for both existing Cobra fans and people who have never seen anything about Cobra.
