Other than Cobes, I only really actively follow Wings and DSP these days. It hurts especially to know that a terrible narcissist manchild like Phil (once again) outlived our boy Cobes. Cobes was truly unique and a good person unlike most cows. It has been said many times already, but it's true that the good ones die the youngest while the bad live on...

Rest in peace Joshua. I actually really like cobes as a person, had to stopped watching him because of his addictions. But at the end of the day, he had a kind soul. My mates and I used to get stoned af and watch bitesize videos, had made us have some good laughs and brought us joy in our lives. I loved all his little sayings and watching his food and drink hacks. Gerard Way owns his albums too so he was a real goth, you reddit pussies. Rock on Josh, have fun with Ozzy and all the homeboys we lost too. PRAISE COBRAS MAGIC! #FUCKSICKOS #HAILSATAN #HAILOZZY

He’s planning to apparently.

And 50% of the profit is going to Autism Speaks. Sucks that it’s going to such a shit organization.
And there I go crying again.

I can’t imagine how bittersweet seeing the love is for Clint. On the one hand, it’s nice to see how many people loved him. On the other, it must be hard to understand where this love was when Josh needed it.

My only post in the decade I've been here goes to the one whose passing actually hurts.
RIP Cobes, you were the last I ever wanted to see go. 💔

Thankful to Clint for not deleting Josh’s accounts and for reaching out so quickly amid his grief to confirm what we feared most. And now, he's willing to host an event. What a great guy. I hope someday, someway, he can find peace.

The trolls ruined most normal praise Josh would get. He was so harassed that he would keep comments on his videos off or hidden. He rarely went live after moving to the trailer.

Keep in mind that I am many combos deep.
Cobra is the only "lolcow" that I have viewed outside of simple morbid curiosity, with a genuine sense of kinship.
The appeal of Cobra in my opinion is that he embodied the fundamental flaw in all of us, in a Homer Simpson/Clark Griswold kind of way. There was something about him that we all could relate with. The Cobra we chastised and laughed at was also a core part of ourselves.
Part of why so many of us are taking Cobra's passing so hard is because in a sense Cobra represented our flaws, and with his death our ability to overcome them comes into question. A sentiment I see echoed so much in my circle and in the community is that Cobra acted as a mirror held up to force ourselves to face our foibles.
Everyone I think held out a certain hope that Cobra would have some kind of come-to-God moment where he would finally turn things around, and so the suddenness of his death feels even more tragic and unfair; as though we were cheated.
For me I had already turned my shitty life around by the time I had found Cobra, and so in the beginning it was hard for me to accept Cobra because he represented so much in myself I was escaping.
I don't think most of us realized, even as we shit on Cobes, that he had become a projection of our own failings. And with his deaths we've lost a kind of innocence that we believed there would always be more time, more opportunity to turn it all around. That in my opinion is why people are taking Cobes death so hard.
If the Boy should have one ongoing legacy within your life it is that there is not time like the present and that tomorrow is too late. To live not only in disregard to how people perceive you but in straight up spite, but to also not let that define you. To never do nothing and wait patiently, but to also keep on rocking.

He was also a pretty funny retard.

Made an account just to express how shocked but not surprised I am that this was the outcome for cobes :heart-empty:
I made an account because I had seen the memes. Then I saw someone say on a reddit thread that he died, "kiwifarms reports". I never thought it was in good taste to joke about someone's death (especially if they lead a life where they may die early), so I joined to confirm the information and then to mourne with all the rest. I hope people change their opinion on Clint. He's going out of his way to help Cobes' fans mourne. Thats wild, and about the sweetest thing a parent could do for their child in this scenario.
