Man, I am going to miss this dude.
I haven't posted in damned near ten years and was content to just lurk but Cobes was pretty much the only lolcow I actively followed after the Chris-Chan's rape arc sullied the fun. These last few days felt like losing a distant friend. RIP Homeboy Cobra.
Fuck sickos, fuck rape, fuck mass shootings and shake it for Ozzy.
 
I am watching his last 4 rant video. He is coughing a bit but doesn't seem in extremely bad shape (at least not any more than usual). My thoughts are this:
He was sick related to drinking, and just ignored signs and kept drinking. I don't think he died "from drinking" but he probably was just complaining to his dad for a week saying he was sick. He kept "sleeping it off" with drink combos and died of something entirely preventable if he actually went to hospital. He robbed us of a hospital saga. Skygod, I miss Cobes...

"Enjoyed" a sick drink combo and dank food hack last night. Did not vomit, but felt like shit. Poured some out for the homeboy and the thought occurred to me that Cobes must have been absolutely sloshed last night in heaven with all the libations poured out in his honor.

Same man, I'm usually not much of a poster in these types of threads but it's weird seeing the guy go off the face of the planet basically. I mean long before I joined (not like I've been on this site very long to be fair but a few years ago anyways) I was pretty into watching videos about and by cobes.
I think at some point I even showed one of my real life friends him, very spergy but it's true. I guess I can't be too surprised, he was huffing whippets and other drugs that'll fuck up your head if I do remember but it's still shocking to see this crazy guy go.

It's really nice to see a lot of Kiwis coming together to celebrate our Dark Lord one last time. The faggots at reddit would never. Say what you want about Clint and Josh's mental issues, or that swamp hag for that matter, but the redditors were the ones that ultimately killed him. Sending alcohol and other assorted drugs to a CLEARLY struggling man (both mentally and physically) is just straight up pure evil. Those people should face the wall.
 
This is pretty devastating.

I've followed Cobes on and off for the last ~5 years or so, I always wanted him to get better. It really fucking sucks seeing someone so genuinely interesting die. This is like when Terry Davis died, just- we lost someone so unique, so interesting. Fuck.

I made Cobra's Mist in his honor today. Fuck sickos.
 
Didn't get to do it last night so I did it today, but I made a dank foodhack and drink combo in honour of Cobes. Foodhack was sausage, potatoes, cheddar cheese, spinach dip, ranch dressing, and crushed up nacho cheese Doritos. Unfortunately, since I don't have any booze on hand all I could make for my drink combo was some pilk. I hope Cobes is enjoying it in the afterlife.

Me and my friends bonded over Cobra being silly too. To the point where we are unable to shake "that's what's up" from our vocabulary. I thought it was mostly just me pushing my regarded interests with them tolerating it but for the most part they were all pretty damned sad too when the news dropped. One of them even took it worse than I did.
Something about this boglim really resonated with people.

They haven't even done an autopsy yet, so unless his head was chopped off or something, which it wasn't, they wouldn't suspect foul play yet. The only foul play that seems possible is someone sending him something poisonous, and it seems (at least now) a lot more likely it was either alcohol-related or food poisoning, or something like peritonitis or other unrelated infection.

A number of people here noted that Josh complaining about pain was very unusual for him. He'd previously shown the pain tolerance of a pit bull. Just his teeth had to have been pure agony and he never complained about them even though he was obviously chewing differently and wincing from time to time.
