Last night I went to bed after staying up all night just for some news, only to wake up to Clint’s video ITT which was a fucking shock. When I finally got out of bed fully I told my girlfriend, we’ve been together for a few years and Cobra has been a very consistent little thing in our lives. I don’t use my music setup very often, so ironically the cassette for “Life ain’t Fair” was already loaded up for a while now, and we finally just got done listening to both sides. It’s honestly not that bad, but the track “Drinking and Dying Alone” hit so hard for both of us. I put the cassette back in the case, looked at his signature for the first and last time I will for probably a long time, and placed it on the shelf beside my cremated dog. Sorry for sounding emotional and gay but I really didn’t expect or want this day to ever happen and it’s still honestly shocking for me. I just hope he knew there are a lot of people who cared a lot. Gonna put up a glass for him tonight after work. Fly high with the prince of darkness, Cobes.

It's sad it all led to this when both Clint and Josh just wanted to make each other happy. Cobes probably thought his family would be happier with him away since he had such low self esteem and Clint knew Cobes wanted to be independent so he tried his best trying to help his son achive that. I really don't think people realize how hard it is to help someone who takes any advice as a slight and a proof of how much of a failure they are. You trick Josh into going to a group home and he'd make sure to do retarded shit to get kicked out to prove he doesn't belong there and when he's out you aren't ever hearing from him again. He probably would have rather died under a bridge than go back to the people he thought betrayed him.

At the end of the day 99% of the people saying Clint should have done this and that wouldn't have lasted more than a week trying to help Cobes. I wish he had much better support in every aspect of life and his story had a better ending but I don't think you can blame Clint.
 
Unbelievable, I get he really tore up his health with all the heavy boozing but this really came out of left field for me. I kept up with Cobes for years, genuinely saddened by this news.
 
The most Goth thing he could do is come back and Paranormal Encounter Jessica into psychosis.

If an alcoholic is that far gone they can still get hammered on the cheap stuff. We had a guy at work who was drinking methylated spirits mixed with water.
