No work tomorrow...I never was too invested in JFS, probably because he reminded me too much of people I know in my life so it was more depressing than funny to watch a man destroy himself over the course of years, but it doesn't change the fact I still enjoyed what little of his that I saw.

I'll pour a drink out for the lad. An excuse to get drunk would be nice for a change. Anybody have any Cobe recipes to recommend? Drink combos appreciated too.

I hope he doesn't feel guilty for having some level of relief. His own child was living a pretty miserable existence and nothing in Clints powers would have helped. Josh was obstinate and defiant, to the point of letting his teeth rot instead of just brushing them. And thats all before weens started bothering him.

It must be hard seeing your kid live like that and feel powerless to change the circumstances, but now Josh doesn't have to live that tortured existence and Clint doesn't need to see his son struggle daily with substance abuse and fighting with troles.

I hope Clint finds some peace after this initial wave of grief and trauma. He really tried to help Cobes in every way he could.

God watching this hurts. I imagine its really harsh if you are alone, but if you are a parent this video really makes you feel what Clint must be feeling.

I'm re-watching the first documentary about King Cobra. Man how young he looked.. So full of life and energy..

Jesus Christ, I've been off the Internet for like a week and this is the news I come back to. I was not ready, man. I was not ready at all. This fucking hurts. That video of Clint is painful to watch. RIP Cobes.
 
Been a lurker on here for a bit but never bothered to even make an account until now. Watched Cobes for a few years and his passing actually gave me reason to make one and give my condolences.

The cat food burger was my personal favorite moment. Let that glorious bastard live on peacefully wherever he is now 🙏
 
just open youtube, and every channel on earth is doing a ' RIP KINGCOBRAJFS "non- monetized" video!'. ngl I'm annoyed with people giving hollow "RIP cobra" on here, but the people who are already making money off his death are making everyone on here look like saints.

don't watch these videos. don't give blood to these leeches. I don't care if it moist or another major youtuber. dont give them views.

How batshit would this be to figure out how to send out all these buds to fellow farmers in memory of Cobes?

This is Frank, Frank has about 80 children right now. Franks story is short, he got left behind in an office after his owner, Frank, died, about 12 years back when Sonos was moving to a different building.
We can name them all Frank Faye Jr.

There are so many people who are considered "lolcows" on the internet that deserve this. Cobes did not. He was a strange man but genuinely was fun to watch and seemed like he was doing the things that he wanted to do. His dad's video broke my heart. I hope his family knows that despite how it may have seemed there were many people who genuinely enjoyed Josh and his content. May he rest in peace.

This is especially true of alcoholics. I mean unless they're seizing and in and out of consciousness from detoxing and a hospital/ems can get "implied consent" or whatever to bring them in and medicate them, there isn't really anything you can do to force them into sobriety and better life choices. Even when pleading and begging a family member to get sober results in them agreeing they need help they usually will not agree to medical help or rehab right away. It's always "soon" or after x,y or z, which of course is always followed by more excuses why they can't get help then either.

Alcoholics will also push off going to doctors or seeking medical advice out of fear even when symptoms are extreme and persisting. I'm talking swollen legs, ascites, jaundice and vomiting blood. They will see these symptoms, get scared and then start drinking MORE to cope with the fear.

The other thing with alcoholism that I think a lot of people don't realize is that you can keep chugging along poisoning your body with cheap liquor for decades and suffer through "managing"(ignoring) the symptoms without a doctor for a long ass time.. which is another reason alcoholics will refuse medical help. Sure they're suffering and sure they know they have a problem, but it's all been mostly okay up until this point, right?? Even family around them will fall into this thinking. Until it all comes to a head rather rapidly.

a very sad situation all around.
