I feel terrible for Cobes' dad and the rest of his family for losing a son and a brother, that video is brutal to watch. But as someone who's definitely a tourist and only known about Cobes on the periphery through documentaries like Gothic King Cobra or Null covering him on MATI, as much empathy as I have for his family and the actual fans of his endearing eccentricity, I can't help but feel enraged more than anything.
This is the second person that a snark subreddit has killed, within like a month. The SaveAFox lady and now Cobes. I know there's debate over whether the crazy bitch bogwhore's seeds killed him, and that might have been the straw that broke the camel's back; but I would argue being sent an endless supply of alcohol, having the cops called on you constantly, and the genuine harassment faggot moral crusading is what ultimately did him in.
I hope any redditors lurking this thread (and some redditors I suspect that have posted in it) watch Clint's video. Watch the genuine trauma, anguish, and pain you've caused a father and I hope watching that makes you feel like shit. I don't know if anything can be done about snark subreddits, and probably nothing will. But I do know that people that genuinely liked Josh are pissed off and will want a pound of flesh, and if any Cobes snark redditors get doxed, bullied, etc. I can't really say that you didn't have it coming to you.
Rest in peace Josh Saunders. You mattered.
