Cobra, or a version of Cobra that was played by an art student, would've absolutely killed on public access TV, where Unknown Hinson got his start.
Current Cobra has way too much dead air, and is therefore ill-suited for the fast-paced and dynamic environment of public access sketch comedy.

Two personal favorites of mine, and the first one is more relevant than ever with Cobes actually living in a trailer and eating potted meat.


Cobes on public access in Casper would be amazing.

If you are interested in this specimens legacy, I highly recommend you watch The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia. Fun fact! There is a child in this doc that went on to murder someone over two dollars when they hit 20 and are now serving life in prison (he premiers at around the 18 minute mark)
Oh, and a woman had her baby taken away cause she crushed and snorted oxy right after she gave birth on camera.

I’ve seen that too. I used to catch re-uploads of Derkie’s (the Boone County mating call guy) Facebook beg-a-thons on YouTube for a while too. They’re all so fucking insane it’s hard to put into words. I think Mamie may be my personal favorite besides Jesco.

I know one random daughter (of one of the sisters, idc enough to look them up) makes tiktoks showing off her millennial gray trailer with her new chicklet teeth

Ive known trailer park people as a kid, and I now live in an area where there are "luxury" trailer parks where a single wide is 3k a month. But im a yankee and dont know southern trash like this. I cant imagine talking about your favorite ways to get high in front of your child...

When i go to the pharmacy to get my scripts i always shake the bottles and say boone county mating call beause of that movie
