I think the social isolation really made everything 100 times worse for him. I was honestly depressed after watching just how far he fell in roughly a decade. In one of the snakebones SR5k talks about how he thinks everyone sees a part of themselves in Cobes and I believe that more than ever. It could’ve been me, I grew up with people who are in the same position as him because they couldn’t put those vices down. I digress toobz. I really feel bad for him and wish he would change for the better.
I've gone through my own Cobra arc myself. I used to drink, smoke, gamble and eat like shit every day while isolating myself from the world too so I sympathize with the man and do hope he gets better. We can all push ourselves to do better and I'm now getting myself out of depression. Ive been more active, my diet has improved and my mental health has gotten way better. I'm rooting for Josh and hoping he pulls himself together one day I don't want Clint to find him dead in his trailer from heart disease one day.
It’s damn easy to fall and harder to pick yourself up. That’s great to hear, keep your chin up and remember you are human. I think Cobes is a very big could’ve been story, I’m glad that Clint set him up to be supported with tax returns but at the same time if he had truly been able to hit bottom sooner he might would’ve gotten out of that hurt rhythm he’s in.
