Sounds about right.
My mother went through a long and arduous journey for her permanent implants after 17 years of not seeing a dentist. Her mouth was nowhere near where Cobes is but I think her timeline went something like 1-2 years, thanks to corona, from the initial infection she suddenly had, to all but four teeth got pulled, to her temporary dentures and finally to her new permanent teeth that have been put in place with screws and stuff in her jaw bones. Just the recovery from the infection to where her team could start THINKING of giving her dentures took quite a while.
And she brushed her teeth, she just used to smoke and she has a bad case of fear of dentists.

Damn I feel so bad for Cobes but he's in a hell of his own making. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to floss and brush my own teeth.

I doubt he has dental insurance, he probably has Obamacare or something but dental insurance is its own thing, nobody outside of having a good job wants to cover it. I dont think something like Obamacare even covers regular cleanings. Im not sure if SSI or whatever he has covers it through medicaid or something so maybe its that, but I think that's probably going to get cut soon too.

I think its ADD over ODD, the lacks the foresight and general knowledge to stop and go 'shit this is a big deal, turns out you cant just go to the doctor and go 'I know its bad but you can fix it right?' Plus hes been isolated, has poor social skilld, Im sure he has a bit of irl social anxiety, he knowshes gonna get made fun of, hes a target for trolling, hes kinda lazy, ADD does actually make you do stupid shit and act autistic.



I think its the combination that I think hes still smoking pretty regularly as well as drinking and not brushing/flossing that got it that bad. I know it doesnt do much but if he had even just swished with some mouthwash every now and then it would have been better than nothing. I think they even make medicated mouthwash specifically for gingivitis/maybe periodontitis.

I can't speak for Wyoming as it may be a state thing, but I was on medicaid for a little while and they covered all of my treatment for free, including cavities and crowns.

there is also no promises the whole thing would go smoothly either. if he needs bone grafts that might increase the time needed to heal. plus there is the issue of him developing antibiotic resistance with how much he is going to need to be on them he would need to get switched around to various ones and pray he is not allergic.

i also wonder how his organs would handle antibiotics in general since they can be pretty tough on the bacteria in your intestines which can cause even more issues which is the last thing he would need.

all that being said even in a perfect situation the idea of cobes having the patience to put up with all the work needed while also suffering from alcohol withdrawals and being forced to be on a very strict liquid diet for at least a month if not longer is something i dont ever see happening.

though they could just say fuck it and take every single tooth out at the same time and drug him up for a while so his gums can recover. that might not be as bad maybe?

I was just watching a thing about autism, and it made the point that neurodivergent people don't have this, like, running script of shit to do, like an auto pilot. We've gotta plan every single little thing, every day, and when you're doing that, it's easy to accidentally leave something off of the list. So, while he probably does think, "shit doodt I gotta fix this" he probably also thinks, "I can worry about this after my drink haha yessth" and he forgets. He might also just have sensory problems with brushing, and the lingering taste of the shit afterwards, and this is all on top of him probably just being scared of not only troles making fun of him, but maybe him being a burden to Clint.

I'd put $20 towards a Kiwi Farms, Null-handled GoFundMe to fix this little nigger's mouth. It's a good thing to do and you should try when you can to do those good things.

Also I would like to see Null get increasingly frustrated. Like, this is gunna be a triathlon of wrangling and Cobra is the #1 challenge. You can't wrangle him worth a fuck.

He might actually do that since Cobes is a rare sympathetic cow in a sea of actual sickos and culture war grifters. Null was interested in helping the boglim find housing last year when Jessica got him evicted and he posted about it ITT. But that didn't get far because Clint came in clutch with the single wide.

He's damn near impossible to wrangle though. Only Courtney and the Drunken Peasants podcast guys can get him on their streams because they stroke his ego. Sam Hyde and his right hand wigger Jet Neptune tried to get him on Fishtank but, to quote Jet "he was too much of a diva" for that to happen. I doubt Null would get through to Cobes because his messages would either get lost in a sea of ween texts or Clint would filter him out.
