First of all it's $47, not $38
Second of all, no it's not, not anywhere. Harrod's of London, the most expensive department store in the world, wouldn't charge half that.
Our boy just can't stop adding on extras which quintuple the price of anything he orders "as a food hack" -
He can turn a budget Hot and Ready pizza into a $60 mess, and as others have stated, he could just ordered the base ramen order (x3) and gotten more food for less.
Duster abuse has rotted his brain to the point where simple arithmetic goes out the window and instead of ordering 5 burgers for $15, he'll order 1 burger for $30, with a ton of extras

According to the bog hag and himself, if he misses a thing in his order, like a sauce or topping, he orders the same thing again and again until he gets what he needs for his retarded "hack".

Remember the guy that got chased for not giving a tip? Ramen there costs 17$ and cobes ordered extra of everything, extra broth, extra noodles, extra pork, extra beef, extra shrimp. I can see that basically doubling the price.
Here it costs like 10€ and that's still too much for me, but I can see it being even more expensive in the states.

BTW, does anybody have the full Skype interview that Seizure did in 2013, I still have never been able to find that.

Josh’s dietary habits may seem incomprehensible at first, but they make sense once you understand that he’s a child in an elderly man’s body. He pretty much never grew out of the “when I’m an adult I’m gonna eat chips and candy for dinner” phase.

What do kids do when they get a bit of pocket money? They buy junk food. Thats Cobes except he has access to adult money now.

It doesn't hurt that he has absolutely no understanding of the value of money since he's never really earned it himself. He's like the people who use their food stamps to buy steak and lobster. They don't care -- it's not their money. More will come in later in the form of 'tard bucks or paypigs.

I love when he apologized for “false advertising” for claiming that McDonalds didn’t include the bacon he requested on his fish-o-filet. Not for him accusing them of false advertising, mind you; but his false advertisement of the fact that he didn’t believe they supplied him the necessary ingredients to complete his burger-fish-bacon-chicken monstrosity.
 
Cobes has no concept of money management. I'm not a Clint defender, but he did make Josh get a paper route to buy his first BC Rich. For what it's worth, that's a fairly classic way to teach a kid the value of work and money. Josh then proceeded to smash the guitar in a performative fit of rage on YouTube.

Convenience culture and now lifestyle creep are big things. As a very old viewer of Cobes, one of the big things I remember being "this is going to be bad" was when Venmo/Cash App began to offer debit cards. Before that, Clint had a lot more control over Josh's finances since he didn't have a debit card. So in some ways, he was at least making some effort to allocate his money, like having to pay his internet bill. On the other hand, it was still hilariously bad. A highlight of course was going him trying to get a payday loan for Little Caeser's. The first time he got a taste of actual money, he blew through $1000 in like three days.

Once he left the ADA apartment, he wasn't so centrally located and lazier with a direct flow of money so he began calling cabs to take him to places. It seems using Uber/Lyft presents a learning curve beyond Josh's understanding for the most part and Casper Cab Co. still has a significant presence. I think he understands how to use it these days though. Then food delivery services came into existence, so he could get anything he wanted without leaving the apartment.

He's managed to dodge the consequences of anything regarding money. He knows he can fire up a livestream and "hang out with his fans" to rake into an easy $1000, make Cameos, or if it gets really bad, he'll have to put some effort and sell a few wooden dowels for hundreds each. Money is a number on the screen, to him it's completely normal to put your account into the negative. He's been bailed out everytime and now he's more popular than ever, so he's learned what he needs to do to get money reliably and it will always pay off.
