He has gotta be in pretty shitty pain. He can’t admit it but we see him shoving that slop around with his tongue. Surprised we haven’t seen him bite something and immediately recoil out of pain, though I doubt he would post that because it’s not cool or gawth.

I can’t wait to hear his informed opinion on the current Paki/India bullshit. Wonder who he is going to parrot on this one?

At the same time he does not care at all about people being able to see into the abyss he calls his mouth.

I doubt he is in much pain anymore. This is end stage gum disease, and whatever healthy nerves and roots he had, are long dead. He probably has pockets where the pain is the worse, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he has just gotten used to it at this point.

I still can't understand how he isn't in constant unbearable pain to the point of being unable to function and get through the day and do other stuff other than just sitting with the pain. - I had a problem with my molar that ultimately required a root canal, but that tooth was entirely visually intact even with that problem and that was just one tooth, and it was horrendous. Until I got it taken care of, all I could do was just sit with the pain and contemplate the pain, it was that all-consuming.
 
I just noticed in the last foodhack he said Sargento right, then corrected himself.


"Sargento. Makes good cheese. Serenghetto. Whatever you wanna call it. Potato, potato."

He got it right, then something in his brain went "no wait, that feels wrong", and went with the more familiar version of the word.

To him, these are just two valid ways of saying the word. Whatever you prefer. No skin off my shoes.

I’ve never heard the correct “Loo-sern” out of him yet

In the name of all that is holy, those teeth! This thread has been the best ever motivation for me to improve my dental hygiene. Just seeing that picture made me brush my teeth out of horror. Brush your teeth carefully fellow Kiwis!

We have some dentists here, I would imagine that there is nothing that can be done to save those monstrosities now?

I mean, at this point even a root canal won't do anything for most of his teeth. I think any sane dentist would just yank all the dead teeth out and give the boy some dentures

Been thinking about this as of late. I believe somebody on one of Seizure's call in streams said that those teeth need to come out. Not only because they are abscessed and causing him discomfort. But there is also a possibility that it causes a life threatening infection that might just remove our gothic badboy from this gay earth. Could also explain some of the facial swelling.

I have an uncle who had an infection from a bad tooth. It ended up poisoning his blood and damaging his heart. He ignored the pain for a day or so, but it got to be so bad he went to the ER. He had to have heart surgery to repair the heart valves that had been wrecked by the infection. The doctors said that if he had waited a day longer, they wouldn't have been able to save him. Cobra is playing with fire, but that's just how a Boglim do. Circle of protection on the Sarlac pit, so mote it be.
 
Things to look forward to in the upcoming denture arc:
  • Coloring on the dentures with green and black sharpie
  • Supergluing vampire fangs to the canines
  • New and exciting speech impediments
  • Puffing up his cheeks real big like Topsy
  • Drunkenly spitting his dentures out while talking at the camera
  • Continued gum disease from poor denture care
  • Inevitably losing his dentures and attempting to go without them
  • Amuse-bouche sized food hacks
  • Big toothy smiles with perfect, straight, pearly white teeth.

Damn that's pretty gnarly.

This does make me wonder. How big of a role does his drinking play when it comes to his teeth? We have seen him just keep a mouthful of vodka for a minute or so, and it's suspected that he does it to help with the pain. But to what extent does he do that? And how long until he ends up in the hospital/morgue from just ignoring these issues?

I had a bad tooth for a while and it was absolutely debilitating, the only reason why cobes isn't writhing on the ground in pain 24/7 is a combination of him drinking and his nerves dying and perhaps some warding spells. He's 100% going to die from an infection unless he chokes on his own vomit before that. Best case is Clint brings him to get them all yanked or maybe some dental students can take him on as some type of nightmare scenario group project for much less money
