Personally I feel like these people see themselves in Cobra, they see the parts that they hate in themselves the most. Their anger comes from their own misgivings, their faults, their failed opportunities and their own over-inflated ego. They can't stand seeing him do the things they can't help doing themselves, no matter how benign or stupid it is; they're terrified of being like Cobes. He's like a mirror into the future for them and it scares them so much they lash out at him for every little "mistake" he does.

Eh, Cyraxx isn't a good comparison. Cyraxx will go out of his way to harass people, like the women that break up with him. He got one woman evicted years ago, by calling her landlord over and over, and just recently he was calling the school for his ex's kid. He's not exactly self-limiting, because he's shown that he can, and will, use the things at his disposal to get back at people.
I knew a guy who ventured deep into the sweaty shitty taint of those discords, he'd come back and tell me these stories of these sad saps and their completely fucked up lives. That joke that Cobra makes about his trolls doing heroin? Not a joke, some of them are actual heroin junkies who try hard to hide it, some are meth heads, a good portion are heavy alcoholics and almost always these people either live with their parents or they have these completely dysfunctional lives that get slightly better but then capsize in a perpetual cycle of self-abuse.
I used to think they trolled him because "it funny doods" but over time i realized these people who are way too deep, are actually jealous faggots and cobra rules their sorry lives, literally. I mean their life is often more out of control than our boy's life, they dont have a loving father (big ups Clint!) looking after them and probably never had, they are often broke, terminally online and unemployed. Many of them that have been doxed turned out to be drug addicts.

That's a good point. Back in the day Cobes had quite a bit going for him. He had his homeboys, he was able to get chicks and he got out and did stuff on his bike. It's easy to imagine some white trash people seeing him as cool. But over the years he's been devolving into goop, I'm not sure even he believes he's a goth bad boy anymore.
