It is far too late for him to go into a group home, plus he would have to do it on his own accord which will never happen. Clint made a ton of mistakes, but I think he was a good dad to Josh for the most part. It is hard to tell now with him not livestreaming like he used to, but it does surprise me to see how much Clint seems to be leaving him to his own devices right now.

Hes a hermit, even when working he had barely anyone over beside some flings and scotty(rip). He most definitely doesn't have anyone now and seems Clint has been more hands off than ever before after getting that trailer home for him.
 
I imagine a lot of arguments with cobra is telling him don’t do X and he instantly decides he will do the opposite because fuck you. I’m not a fan of clint but would you wanna be around that? Your kid is killing himself and won’t listen to any serious?

Either way, what really are the chances Warlord tried sucking Cobes off?

This right here. Cobra intentionally does the opposite of whatever he is told and has even admitted to that. He is a grown man who is 34 going on 50 and you can't make him do much of anything unless he wants to. I think that Clint has done more than enough for Josh. Josh just squanders all opportunity given to him anyway. I'm very curious how Josh will get by without Clint once he is gone but at this rate Clint might outlive him.

He's sadly a dog trapped in a human body, sleeping on top of a dog chair. His body craves a higher purpose and meaning, but all his mind knows is alcohol, DoorDash, swamp hag sex, and smoking weed, vape and pipe, all at the same time, which is impressive to me.

The only thing that gave him even a semblance of higher purpose these past few years, if you can even call it that, was the mead-making. It forced him to do actual research, so he wouldn’t just die from eating raw honey, and it was something he was proud of, like when he was forced to leave a family event because he got drunk on a jug he took to share.

But he doesn't even do that anymore, at least to my knowledge, when was the last time we even saw a sludge-filled jug that looks like something out of a horror show?
 
a lot of people say that they see some of themselves in cobes. what part of yourself do you see in him?
if i completely gave up i would be drunk 24/7 chain-smoking and staring at screen. dudes got a trailer and enough income that he doesnt have to work.

Cobes is the boglim inside us all that we fight daily to keep from coming out.

I don't envy Cobra in that I want his circumstances or things. I envy how stress free and lazy his life is though.

Every day he gets to choose when he wakes up. No alarm clock. Every day he gets to choose what he eats. Usually something nasty but at least he has full control of the choice and doesn't have to give in to what others want.

And I hate to say it, but I envy the way his retardation gives him complete confidence and lack of shame. His ability to not give a single fuck about what other people think and just live life the way he wants to live life truly is the stuff of sexy gothic bad boy legends. The rest of us are consistently working towards the approval of others be they parents, spouses, or children. The only approval that matters to him is his own. There's a freedom in that that most of us normies will ever know.

He is living a theoretically ideal existence. He holds no goals or aspirations. His shelter, food, and drink are all provided. He does not toil or strain himself with work. His entertainment is readily available and excites him thoroughly. He gives no second thought to tradition or social pact. He lives freely.

He's a modern Diogenes and should be envied. He may have angst in life, but who doesn't? Are you any happier or more fulfilled than Cobes? As Alexander The Great expressed: if I were not myself, I would like to be Diogenes.

I completely understand, for a small blip of time I had the same lifestyle. I was able to keep my head above water with my savings while getting turned down by job after job (If I had a nickel for everytime I heard "You're overqualified!" I would have enough to fill a sock and beat someone to death with it.)
I slept my fill everyday, I ate only when hungry, I spent so much time online I felt like fun instead of a quick dopamine fix. Its how I first learned about Cobes in 2014 though Tumblr of all places, I reached out to the OP of that post to learn more about this new creature and they said they like Cobes because he was truly and authentically himself unlike everyone else.

They were right, even 11 years later.
