Josh was making a lot in donations but he was also losing a lot because he was too lazy to challenge chargebacks. Even at his peak, I doubt he was making more than a poverty wage.

He also squandered many opportunities to collab with fellow degenerates. Ultimately, Josh is a lazy bastards who doesn’t want to do anything. He can whine about being depressed all he wants, but the reality is that he likes sitting on his ass, watching YouTube and getting drunk. At the very least he doesn’t hate it as much as the alternative of having to go out and hustle for every buck.

Do we know a ballpark range on what deathbed pays him for an album? I find it hard to believe that anyone is actually buying Cobra's tapes outside of long time viewers that just want Cobra memorabilia and don't really care that his music is objectively bad. I mean I guess if deathbed has been paying him for 10 plus albums he must be making a profit but I always assumed deathbed was just doing it as a viewer and was willing to take a loss on it for a bit of exposure and to keep Cobra pumping out musical content.

I think his life goals have degenerated to simply getting enough for booze and trying to maintain his ‘fandom’.

He is going to lose his channel one of these days, especially with how often he gets blackout. He’s been good lately and you can tell is aware, but every now and then he’ll get angry and drunk and started talking about wanting his trolls to commit suicide while dropping ‘faggot’ every other word. I think that's going to dry up now he's discovered AI music, the music he made was "liked" because it was his an it had a charm for the lack of a better term where it looped back on it's self an went from noise to art but if he's just going to sit back an let an AI make it he has nothing an nobody will buy it.

Josh is very effort averse, if he can free up more time for booze an slacking off he will do it and I also think there is a some twisted Ovoidence Disorder thing going on where he just doesnt want to make music, wands etc any more because people expect it of him so he wont do it till he's feeling like he will do it etc and simply he's not happy doing that stuff any more, I am 90% convinced we'd see videos from him now at a much lower rate an no streams the only reason we do see the streams we do is because he needs the money for booze.

I think part of the reason he stopped on wands and music is that as he gets older he gets less patient with his idea that he will become super rich off selling sticks and making youtube albums in his room. He probably actually thought he would either become some kind of massive wand manufacturer or he would become a rockstar in less than a few years and since that is nowhere near happening he is giving up except when he needs booze. If he doesn't immediately get gratification he gets frustrated so the fact that he isnt already in his clocktower mansion gorging on infinite doordash immediately kills his drive.
 
Ok so i'm gonna try this again, I got 5 trashcans and one autistic rating on my worldoftshirts post posting a video docu of Joshua Block. I thought it was a good video for ppl who are not familliar with him. So I watch this docu on Cobes and wanna post it here. It is with a lot of history of Cobes.


 
The last time Josh managed to haul his alcoholic ass off of his sofa for long enough to make a wand he got 500$, if he wanted to he could easily make a few per month. The last few streams he did especially the ones about Jessica had a few thousand viewers and lots of donos as well, and people do buy his shirts.

If he wanted to he could easily make over 3000$/ month from combined income streams and afford a car or maybe even a house in a low income low population state like Wyoming, but we all know that will never happen and the boy will only put in as much effort as it takes to survive and have liquor. Plus let's be honest a car and cobra's drinking issues would be a horrible combo and if he got a new one he would most definitely miss payments.

I'm sure he'll leak some info about what went down at the family dinner in his next video, he always does eventually. Trappped's doc is the definitive Cobra documentary. Nothing else comes even close. Even outside of the Cobraverse it's one of my favorite pieces of media ever. It's a shame he never came back to make a modern version, because none of the other documentary makers seem to know anything about filmmaking. I think the only reason anyone even mentions YFS' doc is because Casper is remote enough that not many people have stopped by to pay Josh a visit.
Snake Bones isn't a documentary format but I think that's my runner up for favorite Cobra media. The intros/outros especially have such a great vibe and the hosts always keep it pretty fun and lighthearted, and they cover a lot of the Cobraverse's greatest hits.

Seizure's work is about the only Cobra content that I think could survive outside the Cobraverse. It's bizarre and specific enough that it sits next to stuff like Banjo Gyro. Intentional and artistic, but fuckin weird in a non-commercial way.
