I'm gunna tell some of you younger men a story. Sit around cause grandpa's talking and I'm probably not gunna be able to do this for much longer cause I'm old as shit and my balls hurt.

In my younger days, I used to love bi-polar women. At their best, they are open to sexual exploration, they are generally pretty beautiful creatures, they're open to spur of the moment bouts of fun on the town and it cannot be understated that the flip side of their obsession is that they love deeply and intensely. In the best of moments it is a beautiful thing, I encourage everyone to try it once.

'Ole Dente had himself a betty he was sweet on and was all nice to, boy she was something else but she was fuckin' wild and retarded. 3 months into it and she bit a piece of flesh outta my leg, so I hit her in the head with a stool. Don't gimme shit about that I still think it was the appropriate reaction in the moment and, if someone literally took flesh from me again, I'd probably hit 'em with a stool again, I'd hit a baby with a stool I don't give a fuck. I broke up with her after that because I like my leg and I didn't wanna lose much more of it and for 15 years that wild bitch bothered me. She tried to kill me two seperate times, one time with a rake and another with an old rifle. Other times she sent me Chrysanthemums which was admittedly a very nice gesture but she was still retarded.

Now I hadn't sent her off to jail because I kinda liked the game we were playing but there's some of you out there who'd probably not enjoy it and I don't blame you. So when you're approaching a bi-polar retard who can suck your dick real good, you just remember, 15 years is a long time, they will probably try to kill you with guns, and you don't get that piece of your leg back.

Exactly. I bet majority of the Clint critics don't have any relatives or friends who have struggled with an invisible handicaps in the form of mental health issues, an addiction or a developmental disorder, much less know how they'd react as a parent to a child with any or all three types of difficulties. I don't wish handicaps on anyone, even if it's something you can live with. The struggle to get your/your relative's diagnosis figured out and treated is so difficult even in a country with free healthcare. The struggle with the system to get the correct help. The struggle to get your child moved into a secure living situation.

Clint Saunders is not some Christian Saint or martyr, he's just a regular man who put his dick in crazy and chose to raise his retarded son himself, fighting for full custody and actually succeeding in a system that always prefers the mother over the father. He hasn't outright abandoned Josh but he is also a man who has a family and a personal life outside of cleaning up after his boglim child's shenanigans.
I don't relish his position in this. I just hope Jessica Boyle isn't a danger to anyone but herself.
 
I swear, all the big Cobes happenings take place when I'm at work on the other side of Boonieville. This threat has some weight given that Jessica has a new paypig, but less than people think. Even the most back-alley arms dealers have standards when it comes to selling guns, so I can't see her having much of a chance with what would likely be an $8 machete versus a shotgun.
If the dark circle stars align and Jessica travels to Casper, arms herself, and comes to Joshie's trailer, we might see trouble. ESPECIALLY if Josh flips on her again.

I understand how difficult it is and Clint has done many of the important things acceptably.

Some things I would have done:

Cut down the Internet. Clint is an attention whore himself and he openly encourages Josh's online behavior. I know you can't fully block him from going online, but this should have been stopped long before Josh became an e-celebrity.

Put some responsibility on Josh for fucking up. Clint has given a lot to keep finding Josh a place to live. It's very simple to avoid getting evicted from apartments. When he keeps carelessly fucking up and being defiant, some tough love is needed. Make Josh find outlets to survive on his own with his disability benefits. Even if Josh ends up homeless for a bit. He's never going to learn when you keep bailing him out. I know Josh is retarded and could die, but what's the plan for the future?
 
Is there any concrete evidence that Nal and Josh aren't actually related? Does anyone know the first thing about the mother other than she fucked Clint Saunders 30 some odd years ago?

If we don't know anything about Josh's mother, how can we be sure where the family tree may intertwine? Maybe she's Cobe's mother. Maybe she's Cobe's sister and those are Clint's parents she lives with. Maybe she's Clint's sister. I haven't seen any paperwork...
