I'm doubling down because they do not know the law and, like you, are just being a fucking cow. They are acting as if this would be a criminal court instead of probate which is entirely wrong.

Regardless, it is irrelevant as nobody here can get Jord committed. Someone close to him would have to do the call like his family and his family has already proven they simply do not care and want to keep him at arms length. I get their struggle but ultimately it will lead to his demise and getting him committed, not to a group home or anything but merely meds and therapy which they CAN legally do. This is all hypothetical so I don't really get why you guys are spreging out over it anyways, it just makes you look like retards watching another retard.

The point is AnOminous is a lawyer, and while you have had direct experience of it, you may not have completely understood as you are not a lawyer.
Even if you had a lawyer working with you, this lawyer may have just told you what you wanted to hear, as it was easier for them.
Your circumstances in your case may have been different from Cobes, so perhaps there are other reasons why you had the outcome you are talking from.

Not because I want to hide behind censorship, rather that for your own sake don’t give away details which people may think they can use against you.

He may be a lawyer, but as you said the circumstances are going to be different. My lawyer and psychiatrist would disagree with his assumptions. Ultimately we can say whatever we want but sadly none of us has the power to get Cobes into the system where he can get the help he desperately needs. I am not arguing to be a cow or an alog, I merely want things to be factually correct. As far as I see KF doesn't want to harm him and neither do I but it doesn't hurt anyone to posit theories.

The system would just feed him SSRIs during his stay, and then push him out the door when the hold is up. The system sucks, and does nothing for doodts like Cobes.

The lawyer may know what the law says, I know how the law operates. It's just like any other law, a law may say this much money goes to fix the roads but it can be interpreted for shit they don't need, same goes for probate shit. I'm not gonna let some e-lawyer tell me how stuff works when it is factually incorrect and I have been through it and know that that is not how it operates.

Cobes needs more tha SSRIs. They would probably put him on some anti-abuse drugs as well as some stuff for blood pressure as drinking puts that through the roof. I would assume some anti-psychotics as well as he is aggressive at times and spregs out. He might end up being all drugged up but he would have a much less miserable existence.

NAL sent the shotgun and all other video directly to Casper PD, her hope was to have him in a hold, or she could press charges, neither happened, they went and checked on josh. A lot of people seem to think what nal posted was enough to put cobes away. In a lot of states a 72 hour hold requires the person to be making threats against themselves or someone else, Nal sent the cops to Josh's after she was long gone and he told them he was fine, there was no way they were going to take him in. Nals own parents have tried to get her 72 hour hold and they couldnt because they needed an extra piece of paperwork from the magistrate office and are elderly and never got around to getting it.

Yes, I understand that. It's unfortunate because the boy NEEDS help but our hands are tied and in that situation NAL was clearly the aggressor so I don't know if they would even hold him as she clearly made him do it for views. It's a shitty situation all around and all we can do is make hypotheticals because we cannot get a hold on him and he won't listen because he has a made up ODD diagnosis so he has to be a prick to anyone trying to help him. He isn't a bad person but my god does he need help. He's essentially Larson but without the aggression. His aggression goes towards himself or objects whereas Larson went to others,

My point is the law is different in every state, thats why the lawyer guy linked Wyoming law, what you dealt with in Illinois and Ohio is irrelevant. Thats why I brought up Nals parents in Virginia Beach, they called the cops on nal themselves and asked for her to be taken away for a 72 hour hold for constantly being a psychopath, but because she didn't explicitly say she would harm them or herself on that day, they needed an extra piece of paperwork from the magistrate office.

I agree but I am speaking of if he gets detained, I think that is where the wires are crossed. Once he is involuntarily put in the ward the law is drastically different. It's harder to get people locked up in VA or WY than it is in a more liberal state like MI I would imagine but I am speaking of once they are in the ward, where I belong

I was never deemed incompetent but I did go through the probate system. Lawyers like to pretend it's like a criminal case and it isn't. The burden of proof is a lot lower and your rights are restricted as you cannot plead the fifth. The medical system is fucked and different state by state but once you have been taken in it's all the same, you get a regiment and follow it and you are out within 30 days, if you don't you can stay in for 8 months like Earl Dube of 14425 Foy Creek Ct, Shelby Township, 48315
