This was sent to him by a fan years ago and was on top of the cabinets at the Conquistador apartment. It was pretty precariously perched there, too. I always wondered if/when it would fall down on him.

The beer and all the extra liquid he would undoubtedly add would ruin it, that's probably the main learning curve with a slow cooker all the moisture is trapped inside so very little actually cooks down over a normal run time. I could see his chili being a soup. I had to tweak my chili recipe when I started making it in the slow cooker to account for the added moisture liquid.
