Fair. Looking back the info does seem pretty unreliable. I missed the original post, which does give me the impression it was a less than s 100% serious plan. I can deal with some pretty gross stuff but bedbugs trigger me like a vegan watching sausage get made. NAL is bad enough and more likely to happen and is probably actually more harmful.

It’s cause there’s not a lot going on an not a lot to talk about but we all have the desire to discuss Cobra stuff (because he rules our sad lives) so we end up falling into the same few topics that can spark up some form of discussion.

OR a new person shows up and asks something that’s already been discussed to death and we all poke fun and make sarcastic remarks about it before inevitably discussing it again for the billionth time because even though we know we’re beating a dead horse we just can’t help ourselves but take another swing

I think it would be really cool if we had some kind of FAQ thing we could link new posters in the thread. The most common ones that come up that I would put in there would be

1. "Why doesn't Clint just put Cobra in a group home?"
2. "Is Clint a bad dad?" (this one is more subjective which makes is tricky)
3. "I heard Cobra was a pedophile is that really true?"

i think clint should have just sent cobes to the proper classes and therapists for his issues. you would be surprised how much someone like cobes can learn if you teach them early enough and can get it burned into their mind. of course that type of thing is a waste of time now. same thing goes for a group home.

if this was the cobes of the past before the internet and all the duster abuse and non stop drinking sure a group home might help maybe. but current cobes? nah trolls and a-logs would hunt him down and fuck with the entire group home until he got kicked out. i think the only thing that would help cobes at this point is some form of positive influence in his life other than clint.

cobes is more than happy to sit in his chair and rot away because thats all he really has. NAL is a crazy bog witch and its very obvious she gives zero fucks about cobes and only cares about the things he can do for her and the attention being around him gives her.
he has no real friends anymore or at least any he can actually hang out with constantly. those few streams when aaron was around talking to cobes really showcased how alone in the world cobes is most of the time.

there used to be a time where cobes always had someone around to talk to or fight with or whatever and now things are just kind of empty.

No adult can be forced into a group home or assisted living, even if they're 100 years old. The best Clint could do is have Josh assessed, but I assume it wouldn't be found necessary for him. It's not like these places have tons of space for Medicaid folks like Josh.

If Josh wanted to go for his alcoholism, I could see that happening. But, as you say, it's the last thing Josh wants and understandably so.
