I don't think he could make enough money just making his crappy wands honestly. I could be wrong, but even if he could he's got other issues. The last video I saw of him trying to sell wands, he was charging too much and forgetting to send out the finished products. I don't disagree that he should probably try if nothing else to supplement his welfare. What does he even do all day when he's not streaming? Other than drinking I guess. There are some legit Wand Makers on Etsy and Ebay / Facebook they do seem to make a living from it not a great one but they are far higher quality for much less cost - like £50 for one thats hand carved and the carving looks like what it's supposed to be I saw one that was a Dogs head when I was looking that I honestly would own myself as a knick nack to put on a shelf.
There is also Occult / Wicca shops that sell customs they normal have a guy they can call to make one but for people into that sort of thing other than as an accessory item or as a more fancy conductors stick (the other main group they sell to going off titles) they would make their own.

IRC it was sold about a week after he got the notice, and I can see Clint laying down rules about the place (he comes off as a his house his rules guy), and Josh has said during the last Eviction that this was something Clint was thinking about as an option according to Josh - Honestly it does make a lot of sense Josh doesn't have someone living next door to him through a crappy wall, He's got a little more space, a little bit of Outdoor space, etc
I can see Josh being really happy here, until the inevitable happens and he's got unwelcome company.
Nevermind that he's even capable of holding down a job, I don't think he'd ever consider getting one if he was capable. To Josh, his life is basically perfect, he does whatever he wants whenever he wants and the consequences are negligible if not non-existent. There's no incentive for him to get a job because he makes enough money from donations to buy his party favors, his food is purchased by his mother and his rent is paid by his tugboat.* Anything that would require saving, any goals in the future? He thinks he can "manifest" them and that it'll only take time and magical powers to make happen. He wouldn't put earnest effort towards it anyways at a minimum wage job because he thinks it's entirely beneath him to work, he's a celebrity. He's also lazy as all piss and will take the path of least resistance every time.
There's a whole dissertation you could write on why he's capable of working and why he wouldn't anyway. He's an interesting bloke.
*This is assuming he even pays rent. He can't own the trailer, it would effect his SSDI payments. Clint probably owns it so there's even more incentive to never work, he now keeps the majority of his SSDI payments.
The long an short of it is Josh can't hold down a job, he has tried and at his best he failed at it as much shit as the Fat Fuck from Kentucky gets for fucking with him that was the tip of the boil and he'd already built up a lot of reasons to ditch him as a staff member, everything else was just the Tin Lid on the situation.
I am not saying you couldn't find a job or something to him that he could do or one that he could thrive in the problem if those prospects are few an far between and what jobs he can do he'd require a lot of management in to the point your paing Josh to do the job an someone to watch him 50% of the time.
I honestly think Josh could be something like a

Different Plastics, a softer lit like PET is easy to make a hole in to cram anything in, repairing or cutting a harder plastic is well beyond his skills - Air Locks are cheep but he goes for the Balloon method because it's cheaper, Its a reasonably common practice in home brew circles as well especially at the "I just want to brew some wine that doesn't taste like arse that gets me sloshed" level of home brewing and that's about his level of "I looked it up".

ODD is a thing and it tends to mellow out as the person gets older, BUT in there Teens an 20's it can be hell there are whole books on the subject about how to introduce an idea to them and then make them think its an original idea an then getting them to commit, the problem with ODD from my admittedly amiture reading of the subject is it works contary to the educational instincts and the harder you fight it the harder they kick in BUT its often 90%+ cases co morbid with other conditions so there is not much of a standard mitigation methodology - an before anyone say's "Slapping the shit out of them" that works for a very short time the moment the threat is removed the dig in an dont come out.

Yes he did and he taught him extremely poorly to do so, Every time we have seen him use the lathe I have been thankful that he's got very VERY lucky because he reaches over a turning lath with dangly bits, uses blunt tools (an not a blunt edge technique) puts on lateral force to compensate and Looms over the tool (putting himself in the way of anything that might go wrong). He let Clint an authority figure "Show Him" but the problem is he showed him how to do it badly and while something is better than nothing and even allowing for it being a low power bench top wood elf tool it can an will fuck him up at some point.
