It's a pretty easy assumption that the reason he had to move into clints for awhile was because they had to finalize all the paperwork to buy the trailer. They aren't going deal with fucking around with a landlord anymore.

i am not knowledgeable in american property rights but from what i have gathered, you own the mobile home but rent the lot. Can he get evicted from the lot if reddit retards fuck with the neighbors?

some trailers are actually super nice to the point that you forget they are even trailers. then you have the other ones that are essentially just wooden shipping containers that someone lives in.

trailer parks as a whole are also very hit or miss some are ok where as others are filled with people that are either fresh out of prison or on some form of sex offender list. from what we can see so far this trailer looks pretty nice honestly.

the only thing that concerns me is the gas stove. its a grease fire waiting to happen. i hope his neighbors are friendly the cobraverse is in need of new characters.

That gas stove would be a concern, if he didn't prefer the 20$ electric skillet.

It depends on the place. Some don't have lot rent and you're able to own the lot and the trailer.

It can depend but in this case, correct. All the lots are owned by the Terrace Estates LLC, the home itself can either be rented or owned by another individual. Obviously this isn't from this years property tax assessment, but... you get the idea. So, the only fees are whatever per month is on the mortgage {assuming} and lot rental fees.

I didn’t know trailers were this cheap. It’s crazy to think I could buy a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom “house” cash in hand. This shit is bigger than $2k a month apartments in many large cities.

What’s the catch? Do these fall apart after a while or what?

Making cheap actually alcoholic liquid would be easy and he does like to get drunk instead of diarrhea.

I guess it is like 5 year old cooking. Sure boiling eggs is easy but putting cacao powder on them must make it better. Kind of charming.

As I was looking at price drop from new to older ones, it seems pretty steep compared to houses. I doubt their value never goes up. So I guess it is the case that you need new one at some point.

They're around 100k-200k where i am, but yeah it's always been like that. Trailers used to be 40k for 3 bedrooms, good enough to raise kids in but not worry about them destroying a nice place.
They do tend to fall apart a bit but even a layman's knowledge of maintenance can keep them going 30 years or more. The foundation is always the most common expensive/catastrophic fail for mobile homes in my experience. They also burn REALLY fast, like scraggly tinder.
