Chauncey said that he wasn't watching as much anymore cus it was getting "hard to watch" with the duster n shit, so he felt he wouldn't be knowledgeable enough to be on anymore. Now we have ballpark franks, which I like but not everyone seems to agree and keep asking for Chauncey to come back.
 
First attempt at Cobes-insoired jerky, just cheap beef soaked overnight in some original Monster, and then overcooked it.
So, I first boiled down half a can of Monster, to condensed the flavor.
On first is un-boiled, straight Monster, and the second is the boiled, condensed one (I think the meat cooked in it some, because it was still warm when I filled the bag).

The boiled Monster left the meat darker in the end.

In terms of flavor, the boiled is a stronger Monster flavor, and overall...

IT'S REALLY GOOD!

Easily a 5/5 jerky, toobz!

I just wish I hadn't overcooked it in the dehydrator.

I'm going to be trying again, with more flavorings added to my meat. I was thinking some honey, and some leftover spicy-ramen spice packs. If there's more I should add, tell me!

In lieu of spice packs just add crushed nacho cheese Doritos to the monster when you boil it. Strain out the solids before adding the meat to the nacho monster marinade
 
Well it's a good question and one that we won't likely know the answer to unless Cobra decides to bring it up on his own.

I'm guessing that Clint isn't expecting him to completely abstain because Josh is more than likely physically addicted and going cold turkey will potentially harm him.

So basically, assuming Clint is actually going to try and be realistic about his son's problems, he's probably allowed to drink in the basement. Completely forbidding an addict to use their substance is just going to result in conflict and deception.
 
It doesn’t matter if he’s “allowed to” or not Josh would find a way to drink. Better not be stealing sips from the liquor cabinet like a high schooler, BOY!

It's been said before, but he couldn't stop cold turkey without doing it in a medical facility. I used to believe alcoholics could just stop cold turkey, but it's really dangerous. That's why, during COVID, a lot of bars and liquor stores stayed open, because people would actually die without it. Not an excuse for drinking, but he kinda has to at this point. I can only imagine the agony he's in all the time. Even if he wanted to stop, he can't.

You'd be surprised, it's a very low % that develop severe withdrawal or DTs. It's more of a precaution because nobody knows for certain what the withdrawal will look like.

I don't think Cobra would have any serious withdrawals if he stopped, he just has no desire to whatsoever.
