I may have gotten a burn recently because I couldn't see the edge of the flat-top burner.

Precisely. I'd imagine that is a consideration if you are building low income housing: durability. You want tax credits, so you go electric, but you need to tard proof it, so you go with a coil stove, which won't break from some roughhousing.
 
Those coil stoves are super common in apartments in the Midwest/Great Plains area. I've lived in a lot of apartments and rental homes throughout the region, and every single one of them has had one of those stoves. Not just low income shitholes either, although I've definitely lived in those too, my current apartment is pretty nice by local standards and it has one. They are low maintenance, cheap, and it's very easy to replace burners and the pans that go under them, so they are basically the default landlord option. I hate them though, because the burners invariably end up slightly crooked and it's a huge pain in the ass to cook a nice omelette when all the egg flows to one side of the pan.

I was sure once he had that blowtorch phase that was going to be a huge part of his personality going forward, I guess Homedad put the fear of SkyGod in him and made him cut it out. Maybe if he really did "buy" a trailer where he (Clint) only pays for the plot of land he'll go back to it. No landlord setting rules with consequences can only encourage more "badboy" antics if his single authority figure is Clint.

One of the stated reasons he was evicted from the first apartment was having an exposed flame with the spray cans nearby. That exact stream with the blowtorch was the stream the landlords saw, that broke the camels back, they gave a bunch of reasons he was evicted and threw out the $6,000 number. But the next day or day after that blowtorch stream, was the day Clint got told Cobes was being evicted.

Guilt tripping. She knows she's ugly, but by constantly stating it she's effectively laying the guilt trip that if Josh leaves her it's because she's ugly and not because she's an intolerable hag. Plus she does the shit bitches with BPD do where they hype themselves into a frenzy by deliberately upsetting themselves.
 
Off topic but all this stove talk is reminding me of that one time when that goober YouTube cooking personality Adam Ragusea had a complete meltdown over a stupid YouTube troll comment. This coupled with the fact that he’s had ton of videos where he’d preemptively make a comment disproving or responding to potential critique of whatever he uploaded and pin it makes me believe he’s lolcow material. Some of his videos and knowledge is good and some of it is completely regarded but he comes across as having incredibly thin skin and unable to handle criticism. Thats the trademark of a good lolcow, being smart enough to know better and still being unable to help yourself but to respond to trolls. Like you’re compelled to take the bait even if you know it’s bait. Disclaimer: this is from years ago and I don’t follow him closely there is a good chance he’s not a retard about his internet presence anymore

I've never seen this lmao I love this. I ALWAYS knew there was more to Adam Ragusea than what you see in his videos. I had this gut feeling that he had rage issues, or like, vivisected animals or beat his kids when he wasn't recording cooking videos. There's this subtle energy about him that has always rubbed me the wrong way.
Though I have to admit, his cooking advice has helped me tremendously in the kitchen. Even Mengele made discoveries.

I think that Clint is able to put the fear of Skygod into the boy's heart whenever he does something stupid that requires a clintervention, like getting kicked out of the first apartment. So he was really able to put his foot down on Josh smoking inside and messing with fire etc. He does the same when it comes to the firearms.

I don’t think he’s a bad guy or anything. It was just funny to see him seethe so hard about a dumb comment that could easily be ignored. Like dude pick your battles the fuck do you care this random YouTube commenter thinks having the wrong stove disqualifies you from being a chef? It just reminds me of Cobes or especially NaL’s compulsion to fire back at trolls
