Man, this feels like the end of an era. The sub was such an integral part of the Cobraverse for so long. Back before 2022 when it was niche, it had some really good memes and most of the posters hated Alogs and were generally supportive of Josh. Buuuuuut the mods let it go to shit and weenery and Alogging took over to the point where it became unrecognizeable.

This was for its own good. It had to be put down like a rabid dog.

I feel the same way, and frankly fuck those retards for going so far and getting a lot of Cobes history lost. The clint posts were still up, weren't they? Bah, retards.

Yeah in the spirit of fairness, there were some laugh-out-loud memes and fanart being posted there even up until today. Obviously those people are welcome to post here as long as they ain't sickos

Seizure preserved the Clint posts in a video at the very least. And undoubtedly many of us have some of the memes they saved from there still on their hard drives. I should really organize the ones I saved when I get the chance because there really was some good shit.

As much as I want to cheer on /r/kingcobrajfs getting banned it's bad for two main reasons:

  1. The subreddit was by far the greatest archive of Q&A's, artwork, links to videos, links to wikis and drama that existed. That's all now gone most likely forever. It's basically the burning of the library of Alexandria but for Cobra occulists.
  2. The refugees are going to move somewhere and alt subs that ban evade will be trashed by Reddit admins on sight. Guess where they are coming when those alt subs like /r/theboglim get shitcanned? Here. There is no other real place to discuss it online that gets traffic

3. A lot of those retards will come here. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with them. They’re bringing autism. They’re bringing cringe. They’re A-Logs. And some, I assume, are good people.

They come and I get to call them a retarded faggot for their a-logging faggotry, Christmas really does comes earlier and earlier each year

The biggest downside for me in these subs being banned/privated is I can’t watch them sneeding in real time, you know they have to be pissy that Josh has blown a wet and juicy right down their throat
