When I was young, I was going to buy this girl I was seeing a ring just as a gift. My Dad happened to overhear me and talked me out of it because " women take that a certain way." We probably would have been good together, but there's two points to make here. Cobes is the kind of retard that needs that sort of advice, and my Dad thought I was retarded.

Cobes has freaked out a girl before because he told her he loved her on the first day he definitely doesnt have a problem with expressing emotions. I still can't reconcile with the fact he treats her like a stray dog but gives her a reasonable amount of gifts, but then again nigga will give the right homeboy the shirt off his back.
 
it never ceases to amaze me how reddit can't seem to understand how similar they are to the farms in the first place and think they're so morally superior. we're both watching and making fun of a regard. that said, somehow we are far worse because of hearsay and reputation. while over there people actually encourage violence and non-stop harassment of a mentally disabled man and wish death on him and shit. we're really not that different, but here in general, outside of obvious joke posts most people get btfo for saying shit like that.

Here it seems like it's generally still more for laughs and there it's pure vitriol, spite and jealousy. what's really worse, showing a dumbass who thinks they're anonymous online that you can't hide behind a username and what you say follows you, or taking a pre known dox of an ACTUAL retarded person and harassing them nonstop at their home? one side is saying hey we know who you are, the other is trying to hurt someone with the same information.

imagine posting all day gleefully about someone being evicted and harassing landlords in the whole city they live in to stop them from having a chance at a place to live, and being so retarded you can't see the irony of people finding out YOUR personal information. and the reputation thing, by virtue of odds & size regardless of if people committed suicide because of kiwifarms threads, many, many more people have done the same because of being roasted or harassed on reddit.

It is pure absolute projection. Almost every person I have seen here doesn't want horrible things to happen to Cobes. Almost every thread on both subs over there people are basically calling for his head.

They run anyone with a mild take about Josh off the sub. It wasn't always as bad as it is now, it uses to be mostly level takes about Josh, laughing at all the stupid things he would get up to and fan art. At some point there was a shift towards Josh being a evil piece of shit that needs to die and anyone that doesn't fall in line on that gets ran off the sub. It used to be that The_Boglim was the place where all the schizo Josh haters went but now there is virtually no difference between the two subs.
 
One of the two big differences between here annd Reddit is that people are more like passive observers. Good or bad we’re just here to watch and be entertained. We’re here to watch and see what happens without much personal emotional investment. Sure we get excited or emotionally affected by stuff that happens but it’s not the same as reality? If a character I like in a show I watch dies I might feel sad in the moment but it’s not comparable to the sadness I’d feel if somebody I knew irl died. Same thing with Cobes antics even if he’s sometimes heinous it doesn’t personally offend me or affect me I’m just here to laugh. What does personally offend me is people trying to ruin a man’s life for shit that has nothing to do with them largely cause it ruins my good time.

I think another thing is that people here are less likely to just take things at face value and look for confirmation for claims. When somebody says something like him molesting a girl rather than just accepting it people ask for evidence to verify it themselves. Like in this instance the only evidence is “he said so” well the guy also says every girl turns around and says he smells good when he walks into a room.

On reddit people are more inclined to just accept things as fact because somebody said so. There’s not much critical thought put into place because they want to believe it or they for whatever reason trust strangers on the internet

the projection is because they seriously are super jealous of him unironically. on one hand, I almost get it. I'd like to get paid by the government to sit on my ass, and get paid by donations for streaming what I'd already be doing, eating/drinking/watching stuff/talking to myself.

 but they fundamentally miss the part about how sad that lifestyle really is. they all want to be lazy NEETs and think Josh deserves KARMIC JUSTICE for his EVIL TRANSGRESSIONS of.... being a pathetic lonely autistic man who's life has zipped right past him because he's either too far gone or too stubborn to realize how much he's fucked himself. Instead of seeing the point that this shit is sad but chock full of black humor, they project their jealousy because they need an ultimate villain to blame for their own shitty lives just the way he blames the trolls for his own.

"Now it's a party!" has some pretty funny and cringy clips. I remember it got a ton of shit when it came out because people compared it to the Trapped documentary which is incredibly good. Like actual art. I don't think it was really fair to compare the two. The "yourfavoriteson" or whatever his name is doc is awful. He injects himself into the documentary like an attention whore.
