The Saunders family is now "very wealthy" according to the subreddit. Reminder that Clint is a freelance photographer (a bad one) and a community college professor who probably makes under 60k a year. Even if you want to believe the car accident payout was as big as 100k that's still nowhere near "very wealthy"

That's what they think over there? They're the wrong ones to be doing any deep thinking.

For starters, Clint's payout from his accident would have needed to be multi-million for them to be considered "very wealthy". The company who owned the truck that hit Clint doesn't operate in Wyoming anymore so it could have been a big settlement. Also, I don't think Cobes gets a ton of groceries from his parents. He orders food to his apartment quite often and he doesn't always finish his food. He probably eats mostly leftovers.
